一天，他来到孔子讲学的地方，只 见几个人正坐在一棵大树下面，听 孔子讲话。 One day, he came to where Confucius taught, seeing that several people were listening to Confucius under a big tree. One day, he came to where Confucius delivered his speech and he saw several people sitting under a big tree, listening to Confucius.
他很想拜孔子为师， 可是又担心交不起学费。
He desired to be thห้องสมุดไป่ตู้ student of Confucius, but he worried that he couldn’t afford the tuition. He was eager to worship Confucius as his mentor, but he worried that he couldn’t afford the tuition.
孔子说：“不论什么人，只要交来 十条干肉作学费，我都愿意教他 们。” Confucius said, “ No matter who he is, I am willing to teach him as long as he gives me ten stripes of salted pork as tuition.” Confucius said, “ I’m willing to teach whoever can give me ten bars of dried meat as tuition.”
听到这里，颜回高兴极了，连忙跑 回去，告诉他的朋友子路，子贡。 On hearing this, Yan Hui hurried back and told his friends Zi Lu and Zi Gong with great joy. Hearing this, Yan Hui was so happy that he hurried back and informed his friends Zi Lu and Zi Gong.

A young man, who came from a poor family, couldn’t meet the subsistence, and lived in a ragged and small house, was called Yan Hui. A young man who called Yan Hui, came from a poor family which lacked food and clothes. Besides, they lived in an old and small house.
几天以后，他们三人都成了孔子的 学生。 Several days after, the three persons all became Confucius’s students.
