篇1
People I Admire
There are many different kinds of people in the world that I look up to and admire. Some are famous celebrities or historical figures, while others are ordinary people doing extraordinary
things in their everyday lives. The people I admire most have qualities like courage, kindness, hard work, and perseverance.
One person I really admire is Malala Yousafzai. Malala is a Pakistani activist for female education and the youngest person to ever receive the Nobel Peace Prize. When she was just 15 years old, she was shot in the head by a Taliban gunman simply because she spoke out for the rights of girls to go to school. But Malala didn't let this stop her. She kept fighting for what she believed in, despite the danger. I admire her incredible bravery and dedication to making the world a better place.
My mom is another person I deeply admire. She works so hard every single day to provide for our family and make sure we have what we need. On top of her full-time job, she cooks, cleans, helps with homework, and still finds time to volunteer at my school. I've never seen someone with as much energy, strength and love as my mom. She inspires me to work hard, stay positive, and always be kind to others.
I'm also in awe of scientists and medical researchers who spend years developing cures for diseases, astronauts who risk their lives to explore space, activists fighting injustice, and anyone using their talents to improve the world. It takes great
intelligence, passion and perseverance to accomplish things on that level.
Closer to home, I really admire my friend Anna's older brother, Marcus. Marcus has Down syndrome, but that has never stopped him from living life to the fullest. He has such a positive attitude and infectious smile. Marcus works hard at everything he does, whether it's his job at the grocery store or competing in the Special Olympics. He never gives up or feels sorry for himself. His determination and joy for life is really inspiring.
Of course, there are also fictional characters I admire, like Harry Potter. In the books and movies, Harry shows incredible courage and loyalty as he battles the evil Lord Voldemort. Despite all the difficulties and even tragedies in his life, Harry perseveres with the help of his friends. He exemplifies how powerful love, friendship and sacrifice can be.
While celebrities and fictional heroes can be admirable, ordinary people who make a difference are the ones I respect most. My karate instructor volunteers his time to mentor kids. My elderly neighbor raised five kids on her own while working multiple jobs. The firefighters who ran into the burning building to save people. These types of people are true heroes. They motivate me to work harder, be a better person, and use
whatever talents I have to positively impact the world around me.

People I Admire
There are many different types of people in this world that I look up to and admire. Some are famous historical figures, while others are ordinary people who have had an extraordinary impact on my life. In this essay, I will discuss three individuals who I deeply respect and explain why they inspire me.
The first person I admire is Malala Yousafzai, the Pakistani activist for female education and the youngest Nobel Prize laureate. Despite facing extreme adversity and opposition from the Taliban regime that took control of her home region, Malala courageously stood up for the rights of girls to receive an education. At just 15 years old, she was shot in the head by a Taliban gunman while riding a bus home from school. Miraculously, she survived the attack and her activism only grew stronger.
What I find most admirable about Malala is her unwavering commitment to her cause, even in the face of grave danger. She refused to be intimidated or silenced by extremist groups
opposed to educated women. Through her advocacy work, she has become a inspiring voice for oppressed children around the world being denied an education based on their gender. Her resilience, bravery and passionate belief in the transformative power of education are truly awe-inspiring. Malala's actions have improved the lives of millions and motivated me to stand up for important issues I care about.
The second person I look up to is my 7th grade science teacher, Mr. Lewis. While he may not be a world-famous figure, Mr. Lewis has had a profound impact on my academic journey and personal growth. With his engaging teaching style, boundless enthusiasm for science, and sincere care for each of his students, Mr. Lewis has helped spark my deep interest in the sciences.
Every lesson in his class is a fun, interactive experience where he relates complex scientific concepts to real-world examples we can understand. He has an incredible knack for explaining difficult topics in a clear, straightforward manner. Whenever I have struggled with a particular unit, Mr. Lewis has always made time for me after class and during his office hours to patiently go over the material until I could grasp it. His dedication to ensuring
every student truly comprehends the material is something I deeply respect.
Beyond academics, Mr. Lewis also teaches important life lessons about determination, intellectual curiosity, and maintaining a positive attitude. He has shown me that passion, hard work, and perseverance are key ingredients to fulfilling your ambitions. Whenever I feel unmotivated about a challenging assignment, I think of Mr. Lewis's contagious enthusiasm and I am reinvigorated to overcome any obstacle through diligent effort. Teachers like Mr. Lewis, who go above and beyond to unlock their students' potential, are the unsung heroes helping to shape the minds of future generations.
The last person I admire is my maternal grandmother. While she did not receive any formal education growing up, my grandma is one of the wisest individuals I know. She has a deep well of life experience and folksy wisdom that she loves to impart. Growing up in rural poverty during the Great Depression, my grandma learned the values of hard work, resourcefulness, and selflessness from a young age as she helped her family get through tough times.
Despite the hardships she endured throughout her upbringing and early adult life, my grandma always greets
everyone with an infectious smile and positive spirit. Her ability to find joy in even the smallest of things has taught me the importance of appreciating the present moment and not taking anything for granted. She frequently reminds me that happiness and fulfillment come not from material possessions, but from cultivating meaningful relationships, helping others, and living life to the fullest.
My grandma's kindness also knows no bounds. Though she never had much herself, she is always finding ways to give back to those less fortunate in the community through volunteering and donations. Witnessing her immense generosity and warmth towards everyone she meets, regardless of their backgrounds, has instilled in me the desire to make a positive difference in other people's lives. Her strong principles and uplifting life philosophy continue to inspire me daily.
In closing, Malala Yousafzai, Mr. Lewis and my grandmother each possess admirable qualities that I strive to emulate. Their courage, passion for education, altruism and joyful embracement of life have profoundly shaped my character and worldview. While they have all walked very different paths, their inspirational life journeys have conveyed the universal messages of resilience, compassion, lifelong curiosity and leading a life of
purpose. I feel blessed to have such remarkable role models guiding me towards becoming a better student, friend, and human being.

The Kind of People I Admire
There are all kinds of people in this world – the rich, the poor, the famous, the ordinary. But in my eyes, not everyone deserves to be admired. The people I truly admire are those who possess qualities that are hard to find and even harder to live up to. They are the ones who make a positive difference in the lives of others and inspire us to be better versions of ourselves.
First and foremost, I have immense respect for individuals who are genuinely kind and compassionate. In a world that often feels cold and harsh, these people radiate warmth and empathy. They are the ones who go out of their way to help others, whether it's lending a listening ear to a friend in need or volunteering their time and resources to support those less fortunate. Kindness is not just about grand gestures; it's about the small acts of consideration that can brighten someone's day.
Another quality that I admire is resilience – the ability to bounce back from adversity and keep moving forward. Life is full
of challenges and setbacks, but those who possess resilience don't let these obstacles define them. Instead, they use their experiences as fuel to grow stronger and wiser. I'm in awe of people who can pick themselves up after a fall, dust themselves off, and continue their journey with renewed determination.
Integrity is also a trait that commands my admiration. In a society where shortcuts and compromises are often tempting, those who hold steadfast to their principles and values are truly remarkable. People with integrity have the courage to do the right thing, even when it's unpopular or comes at a personal cost. They lead by example, inspiring others to live with honesty and authenticity.
Moreover, I admire individuals who chase their dreams with unwavering passion and dedication. These are the people who refuse to settle for mediocrity, constantly striving to reach new heights and push beyond their limits. They pour their heart and soul into their pursuits, fueled by an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, creativity, and excellence. Their enthusiasm is contagious, reminding us to never lose sight of our own aspirations.
Finally, I have deep respect for those who use their voice and influence to advocate for positive change. These individuals
aren't content with merely observing injustice or inequality; they take action to address it. They stand up for what's right, even when it's uncomfortable or unpopular. Their courage and conviction inspire others to join the fight for a better world.
As I navigate through life, I hope to encounter and learn from individuals who embody these qualities. They serve as beacons of inspiration, reminding us of the remarkable potential that lies within each of us. By surrounding myself with people who exemplify kindness, resilience, integrity, passion, and a commitment to positive change, I believe I can become a better version of myself – someone who not only admires these traits but also strives to embody them.
In a world that often celebrates superficial achievements and fleeting fame, it's refreshing to pause and reflect on the qualities that truly matter. The people I admire may not always make headlines or amass vast fortunes, but their impact on those around them is profound and lasting. They remind us that greatness isn't measured by wealth or status, but by the depth of one's character and the positive influence they have on the world around them.。
