★Master the rules to change singular forms into plural forms.
★Use what we have learnt in class to describe family members and introduce them to others
II.Emotional and valuable objectives
★Let students respect their own family members. They should get on well on well with them.They will know English words for family members more clearly.

2. Help parents do some housework to form their responsibility.
3. Let Ss see they should study harder, and you can get better grades to thank their parents.

★S pell and remember the new vocabularies for family members. ★Know the usage of demonstrative pronouns:this,that,these,those.
★Pay attention to the plural forms of the demonstrative pronouns.

Step2 .Presentation: Learn words
1.Show Ss a piece of video about Family .Let Ss know about some new words for family members.
2.Learn new words
3.Play a word game”Quick eyes”
4. Work on 1a.Match the words with the people in the picture. Check the answers with the class: 1.a 2.c.
Step3 .Presentation: Key sentences
1.Show my family photo.Introduce my family members to the class. Use the key sentence stctures like Who is…This/That is……These /Those are……
2.Let Ss find some grammar rules of demonstrative pronouns
Step4. Listening
1.P lay the tape twice.Let Ss do 1b while listening and then circle the words
they have heard.
2.L et Ss be familiar with the listening material.
Step5 Pair work: Listen again then role play in 1c.
Step6 Practice: Introduce Xia Xue’s family.
1.Let Ss ask and answer about the family photo.
2.Suppose you are Xia Xue. Introduce Xia Xue’s family members to us.
and pay attention to the demonstratives pronouns.Describe the pictures of the soap opera called House With kids.
Use the useful sentences like: This/That is…… These/Those are….
Step7 Consolidation :
Use students’own family photos to introduce your family members. Maybe you can draw a family photo and then introduce them in your group and give us a show.
