Unit3 Reading 教学设计(二)教学分析1. 教学课型:阅读课阅读部分“湄公河旅行游记”的第一部分“Part 1 The dream and the plan”讲述了王薇和王坤姐弟俩的梦想,沿湄公河做自行车旅行,并为之做准备的过程。

2. 教学方法任务型教学法,小组合作学习,多媒体辅助教学。

3. 教材分析与处理课前要求同学们通过各种渠道查询湄公河的资料,如地理位置、流经的国家、重要性等等,做好课前的准备,实际上是为了更好地理解文章特别是第三段做准备。

学生对文章的内容比较陌生,难度上也相对较大,因此,选用了一些河流、冰川、山谷等与河流有关的图片来引起学生的兴趣。

在课堂中,学生阅读时,注意培养学生的阅读策略,不仅设计了略读、查读的问题,包括大意题和细节题,也有深层性的问题,如对错题、填写表格和空格、回答问题等等,引导学生积极参与课堂。

特别是引导学生概括总结文章。

另外,要求学生关注高频词(如proper, finally)。

最后,在阅读和辨认的基础上,让学生明白“有志者事竟成”和“凡事预则立”的道理。

4. 学情分析(1) 所任教的学校学生英语基础相对比较薄弱,应该有梯度地设置任务,使用分层教学,提高学生的参与度,使不同层次的学生有机会展示自己,获得成就感,体验学习的快乐。

(2) 如何激发学生的学习兴趣也很关键,不仅在课堂中要有大量情景的设置,而且在课外也要与学生进行情感交流,亲其师,信其言。

(3) 同学们已经初步了解了阅读的几个重要技巧,如略读和查读,但是需要反复的练习和巩固。

对高一新生来说,词汇量与阅读技巧都明显不足,因此阅读本篇文章会有一定难度,要求学生做到充分的预习及其查阅资料,获得一定的背景知识。

而且,教师必须给予指导,督促学生养成良好的学习习惯,如预习、记笔记,逐渐发展和完善学习策略。

5. 教学目标(1) 语言知识:通过有情境的课文教学,结合听、说、读、写的语言实践,使学生掌握课文中出现的重要单词、短语和句子的意义和用法。

Unit3 Reading 公开课教学设计(二)必修一第三单元阅读课“Journey down the Mekong”Journey down the Mekong教材分析:本单元的中心话题是旅游。

通过本单元学习,使学生了解旅行前的准备工作、旅行中的注意事项及旅游后的感想等。

本单元的第一篇阅读则讲述了主人公王坤和姐姐王巍想骑自行车旅行,于是选定了湄公河为旅行线路。

他们选择海拔5000多米的、空气非常稀薄的高山作为骑行的起点,这注定是一次非常刺激的旅程。

通过查阅资料,他们知道了河流的特点及流向,沿途所要经过的地形等,增长了地理方面的知识,开阔了视野。

主人公两人也在制定旅行计划过程中表现出了不同的性格特征。

文章有一个大标题Journey down the Mekong和一个小标题the dream and the plan通过这两个标题,我们可以看出本文的三个关键词就是the Mekong River,the dream和the plan。

通过阅读,教师既要让学生了解湄公河的信息、学到一些有关地理的单词短语,还要让他们懂得如何做好旅行前的准备工作。

本文中一些有关地理的词汇是学生阅读障碍,教师要先处理好这些词汇,帮助学生理解。

另外文中还印有一幅地图,也能帮助学生进一步了解湄公河。

学情分析:本次授课的对象是高中一年级的学生。

经过初中三年的学习,学生掌握了一定词汇量、具备基本的阅读技能,但学习方法有待完善、自主学习精神有待加强。

很多学生对于高中英语课堂和教学方式还不太适应。

面对高中英语大词汇量、较长的阅读文章,大容量课堂、不少人对于英语很有挫败感,甚至丧失了对英语学习的兴趣。

因此,培养学生对于英语学习的兴趣、调动其积极性至关重要。

学生对于旅游这个话题应该是很感兴趣的,有助于教师开展阅读教学活动。

但是学生的词汇量有限,理解能力和批判思维都还不成熟,需要教师的恰当指导。
