初小衔接阶段对教师如何培养学生学习兴趣的一点思考《初中英语预备课程》一册由四个模块组成,每个模块包含三个单元,共十二个单元,力求将话题、功能、结构和任务在比较真实的情景中融为一体,导入、听、说、读四部分内容的呈现以对话形式为主,话题均与学生日常生活相联系,语言情景真实,注重培养学生实际应用语言的能力,注重对学生兴趣爱好、方法习惯、功能运用的全面培养。

《牛津英语7a》把旧版的6个单元拆分成8个单元,并加入了更多的对话和图片,在操作难度、操练程度上设计得更加符合刚升入初中生的心理,更加趋向英语文化情境和语言学习循序渐进的特征。

不仅容易提高学生的学习兴趣,也为教师组织教学提供了方便。

做好初小衔接,提高学习兴趣,体现“以学生为主体”的思想,真正fun with english,我们需要提高教师自身修养,创造一个愉快、主动的学习环境,采用适合中学生的学习方法。

一、提高教师个人修养,做学生喜欢的教师1.利用学生心理特征提高学习兴趣初一新生爱说爱动,初步显示自我意识,但自我约束、自我控制能力不强。

大多学生善于模仿,容易对教师产生“崇拜”心理,容易对教师亲近和依赖,从而对他的课格外感兴趣,肯花功夫学并在一定程度上提高成绩。

2.把握师生交往尺度,养成学习习惯在师生交往中,年轻教师容易忽视距离,言语过于随意,失去尺度,而一些老教师不重视“代沟”问题,令学生又不敢也不愿去亲近。

教师的角色并不是一成不变的,在不同的场合中变换角色,既值得学生信赖也博得学生尊重,恩威并重、为师育人。

3.针对学生个体特征培养学习策略中学生的个体差异大,但可塑性很强,“教师要在充分了解学生个体差异和不同需求的基础上,在教学方法、教学内容以及教学评价等方面做到灵活多样,力求使每个学生都有所收益。

”(英语课程标准,2011)教师如果能够主动研究、充分了解自己的学生,根据他们的性格找到针对性的方法,则能够帮助他们发掘自身潜能,有效地实施课堂外的辅助教学,令学习事半功倍。

牛津初中英语《预备课程》教学建议各位初一老师:因考虑到你们大部分从初三循环下来,对新教材缺乏足够了解,特将一些教案发给你们。

牛津版英语教材,最大特点是词汇量大,内容多且紧贴生活。

由于这一届的学生在小学六年级已经将7A Starter 教材中的内容都学过了,而且学习的深度超过了7A Starter 教材,所以,暑假的衔接教学实际上是复习。

但是,由于部分小学思想上的不够重视和师资的欠缺,教学效果是参差不齐的。

针对这种情况,教育局要求各位老师充分认识暑期衔接教学工作的重要性,切实提高教学的效益。

为了帮助老师们准确了解各单元的教学目标,教研室组织编写了《预备课程》的教学案,供大家参考使用。

教学案分要点直击和课堂检测两部分,其中的课堂检测题量较大,目的是供各校选择使用,但必须保证足够的训练量,以利知识的及时巩固和消化。

题目的难度是从复习的角度考虑的,是小学学过四年英语的学生应该达到的水平,应该坚持。

下面再提几点具体建议:一、从听入手,加强学生的听力训练。

学习语言的第一步就是听懂对方所表达的意思,因此要求学生在课后听课文的录音,但是由于上的是复习课,教师缺少教材录音磁带,为了弥补这个缺憾,尽量让学生做一些听力训练,内容可以选择小学课本上一些相关的内容。

但是这种练习需要让学生养成良好的习惯,教师要天天布置,天天检查(让家长签字,签听得时间)相对于其他三个方面来说,让学生在家里听录音的工作要到位,另外课堂上要加大听力的训练量,让学生听录音跟录音朗读。

二、以说促学,加强学生说的训练。

语言的最终目的就是用来交流。

说在英语教学中可以说是最重要的,但是我们现在许多学生都是学的是哑巴英语,其主要原因就是怕说,怕说错,以至于错过许多说英语的机会,老师们在课堂上尽量将一些话题让学生彼此用对话的形式表现出来,为了激励学生,有时采取打分评比谁第一的方法来鼓励学生多开口,并能有所创新的表达,而不是人云亦云。

从以往课堂学生的反应来看,还是有一定效果的,只要学生开口了,就达到了说的目的,至于其说的内容的对与错那是次要的,不能一开始对学生要求太高,否则学生是很容易失去学习的兴趣与动力的。

盐教办[2005]2号关于印发《盐城市初中英语新课程实施指导意见》的通知各县(市、区)教育局、市直各中学:为了扎实推进初中新课程改革,进一步提高全市初中英语新课程实施的质量,我市教研人员在深入研究全市初一英语教学现状、认真分析初一英语新课程实施过程中出现的问题及其原因的基础上,提出了进一步提高我市初中英语新课程实施水平的对策,形成了《盐城市初中英语新课程实施指导意见》,现将该《意见》印发给你们,希各地结合实际,认真贯彻执行。

现根据省新课程培训班精神和座谈会形成的共识,结合我市初一英语教学实际,对今后全市初中英语教学提出如下意见:一、正确认识初中英语新教材。

《牛津初中英语》是一套严格按照新课程标准编写的优秀教材,它与小学新课程相衔接。

牛津英语教材从小学三年级到高中整体设计,教材能体现当代新教育思想,是国外教材本土化的典范。

认真用好这套教材,将会极大地提升我市初中学生的英语水平,为高中新课程英语教学奠定坚实的基础。

目前,江苏省各大市都选用这套教材。

七年级英语国际音标教学知识清单使用牛津初中英语教材以来,我们在教学中发现学生学习英语的最大障碍是词汇记忆问题。

一遍遍教单词、背单词、默单词、批单词让师生在枯燥和大量时耗费的苦海中挣扎,但效果甚微。

怎样解决这一难题呢?教会学生英语国际音标,教会学生拼读记忆单词的正确方法,帮助学生建立起单词“音”、“形”之间对应关系,攻克英语学习中的第一大障碍--词汇关,对课堂教学效益的提升有着举足轻重的作用。

下面所列音标教学要点和教学建议供各位同行教学时参考。

1.48个国际音标的认读教学中利用卡片和教学课件要求学生认读48个语音音素,不要求学生书写。

认读要求:准确、快速、大声。

(1)采用新音标字体进行教学,与牛津英语教材保持一致;(2)区分元音和元音字母,辅音和辅音字母;(3)注意纠正口型不准发音不到位的情况及本地区发音缺陷。

如易混音素:/n/和/l/,/aɪ/和/e/,/θ/和/s/,/ð/和/z/,/w/和/v/,/e/和/eɪ/等。

2.识记20个元音和28个辅音(见附录I)教学中不需要将音标分类过细(如摩擦音,破擦音,前元音等),为减少记忆负担只需让学生识记哪些是元音、清辅音(共11个)和浊辅音(共17个),目的是便于今后学习名词复数,动词单三形式、动词过去式词尾的读音变化。

3. 26个字母读音归类和26个字母的音标拼读(见附录II、III)音标与字母教学相结合,字母读音归类帮助学生纠正部分字母发音错误,如字母Cc/si:/会误读为/seɪ/等;学习字母音标拼读有助于解决小学阶段难以表述的不定冠词的选用问题。

4. 学会并掌握单音节词拼读方法本环节是音标教学的关键步骤,掌握拼读方法:辅音轻短元音重,两音相连猛一碰,反复操练。

设计拼读练习如下:(1)元音+辅音[i:t] [eg] …(2)辅音+元音[pi:] …(3)辅音+元音+辅音[bed] [dʌk] …教师提供一组例词,示范,然后让学生举例,课后从小学教材中找出尽可能多的列出对应例词,分组拼读,相互纠正,集中反馈。

一、字母教学建议字母表几乎所有的老师都认为教授26个英文字母是最枯燥的课,但是有一位老师选择了一个有趣的角度,她发现很多学生的用品上都有英文缩写,于是就请学生抄写所有的带有英文字母的商标品牌,看谁收集得多、读得准确。

这样,一节单调、几乎没有容的、学生水平不一的字母课竟然上得丰富多彩、兴趣盎然,学生互教互学,课已完,兴未尽,这种活动学生自己延续了好几天。

这位教师还特别嘱咐学生,看谁收集得多是比一比谁的观察力敏锐,谁细心,并不是要大家去买名牌商品。

认识初一新教材,体现新教材新理念在初一英语教学中,尤其是新教材的刚刚启用,给教师尤其是新分配的教师带来了很大的挑战,充分认识新教材和在教学过程中渗透新教材的新理念,已是刻不容缓的工作,也是评价教师业务水平和教学工作能力的一项重要措施。

一、首先,我们来认识一下新教材。

1、初一新教材理念新,灌输了现代社会最适用的交际语言,其课文内容设计好,情景活动设计好,教师教学方便,学生应用性强,每单元的内容循序渐进,学生学起来水到渠成,它是一套非常好的教材。

预备课程《Starter》也渗透了《7A》的新理念,贯穿了这个教材的体系和模式。

2、《starter》教材改变了以往旧教材的观念,要求以学生为主,发挥学生的主动性。

主要体现在“任务型”教学,通过设计一个个活动,放手让学生练,层层递进,最终达到放开让学生自己练的高度。

3、教材每单元有不同的语言项目,都设计成不同形式,不同层次的活动,给学生机会去说、去练、去做,让学生自己去配合,而不是靠老师去控制。

这是新旧教材的最大不同。

4、新教材虽好,还需要旧教材的一些东西去支撑,所以每单元还要设计一些旧教材的内容来补充比较好。

5、过渡教材《starter》的不足之处在于:由于它是补小学的英语,又要衔接上《7A》,跨度较大,加之又要在一定的时间限制内教完,所以它不能完全适应不同层次的学生,导致有的学生吃不饱,另一部分学生又吃不了,教师的教学难度增大,如何教好《starter》,还需在实践中不断地摸索。

二、在教学过程中,为了充分体现新教材的新理念,我们初一英语备课组做了大量的工作。

首先,让全组教师充分做好集体备课和个人备课。

在集体备课中,开展认识、钻研、讨论新教材的活动,并能体会新教材的好处。

我们每周三下午确定为集体备课日。

明确分工,落实主备人,主备人要精心备课,在说课时要能说出新教材的内容和知识点的侧重点、重难点,然后大家研究探讨新教材的新理念、新内容、新教法,形成共识,写出备课内容,分发给大家,供大家参考。
