• Metaphor:Life is a journey • The poet says"grave is not zhe goal",which means life doesn't end for people simply because they die;there is always something more to be hopeful and optimistic for.
• Metaphor:Footstep are achievements • He advises people to seize the momen they have before them and act timely,he also encourages people to leave their own "footsteps" on the sand of time just like the great man.
