2018年高考考前信息预测押题模拟试题(全国新课标卷)英语(三)答案第一部分听力1-5 AACBC 6-10 ACBCB 11-15 ABCAC 16-20 CBABA第二部分阅读理解21-25 BDAAB 26-30 ADDBA 31-35 CDBCB 36-40 CFEAG第三部分英语知识运用41-45 CACBD 46-50 DACBD 51-55 BAACD 56-60 BDACB 21.B【解析】根据第二段中的"...and a commitment to using natural products where possible and running on 100% renewable energy"可知,该宾馆尽可能地使用天然产品和可再生能源,因此它是环保的。

The 59-room,seven-storey hotel became the tallest building in downtown Bend when opened in 2010"只能得出它在2010年开张时是Bend市中心的最高建筑,而不能得出该宾馆现在还是Bend市中心的最高建筑。

McMenamins hotels are famed for their conversions (改建的房屋),so it’s no surprise to find this former Catholic schoolhouse, dating from 1936,is now an affordable hotel, restaurant, music venue and cinema"可知,该宾馆是由学校改建而成的,故选D。

The classrooms are now 19 guest rooms, each named after former teachers"可知,宾馆的客房是以之前的学校老师的名字命名的,但由此并不能得出该宾馆的客房是为了纪念之前的老师而修建的这一结论,故可排除C项。

But recent experiments are proving that autonomous vehicles also have the potential to improve the quality of life for millions of Americans underserved by traditional modes of transportation, such as the elderly and disabled, so long as lawmakers make smart policies that pave the way for innovation.A retirement community in San Jose, Calif. , which has been transformed by a small fleet of driverless taxis, shows the potential of self-driving cars to transform people‟s lives. Built by a tech start-up called V oyage, the modified Ford Fusions are currently limited to a two-mile road, but residents are already having the benefits of these autonomous vehicles, which allow them to participate in social activities they would otherwise be unable to enjoy simply because they could not get to them. When the trial run finally expands to 15 miles of road, these residents—whose average age is 76—will also have a convenient and reliable new way to appointments. As these cars continue to serve residents there, it is easy to understand why California is moving to simplify regulations for the industry. In Michigan, forward-thinking policies have the potential to unlock other hidden benefits of autonomous vehicles, especially for those with physical disabilities. The Michigan Disability Rights Coalition has strongly advocated for the development of this technology, saying that it could give people with disabilities greater opportunities in the workforce and enable them to lead more fulfilling, independent lives. Many recognize that autonomous vehicles will be the future of transportation, but it is too often overlooked that this future cannot arrive fast enough for millions of Americans who are forced to depend on others for day-to-day travel. The policymakers should follow the lead of places like California and Michigan, and pass rules and regulations to unlock these hidden benefits of driverless cars.28. What‟s the attitude of most American people to the future of autonomous vehicles?A. uncertainB. doubtfulC. indifferentD. optimistic29. What is the modified Ford Fusion?A. What does the author attempt to inform us in the last paragraph?A. The concept of autonomous vehicles has been widely recognized.B. The weak groups are often overlooked despite technology advances.C. The benefits of driverless cars have been fully unlocked.D. Regulations should go hand in hand with driverless technology.DA parent might place his daughter‟s drawing on the fridge out of a love for his child rather than for the wonderful image, but for many people, that children art is actually quite amazing. In fact, adult artists were often inspired by children‟s drawing. Fo r the museum-goers out there who tend to point to a piece of modern art and say, “My kid could have made that !”It‟s worth remembering that often, that‟s actually just what the artist had in mind. For many kids, drawing is exciting not because of the final product it leads to, but because they can live completely in the world of their drawing for a few minutes. Even children are scribbling(涂鸦), they‟re representing through action, not through pictures. Liane Alves, a prekindergarten teacher, recalled a student who presented her with a drawing featuring a single straight line across the page. Alves assumed the child hadn‟t given too much thought to the drawing until he explained that the line was one of the stems (茎) from The Princess and the Pea, one of the fairy tales they read in class.Maureen Ingram, who‟s a preschool teacher at the same school, said her students often tell different stories about a given piece of art depending on the day, perhaps because they weren‟t sure what they intended to draw when they started the picture. “We as adults will often say, ‟I‟m。

I’ve created an easily storable food based on a vegetable that will please children and adults for decades, maybe centuries.”If I were Gene I would have rested on my laurels(满足既得的成就) and played golf with friends. But Gene knew the magic secret: One page a day. He writes a page a day. A page is about 300 words. A paragraph or two. Can you do that? Gene ended up writing 50 published novels, including many bestsellers and awardwinners. He didn’t get stereotyped(一成不变的) and put in that Pringles can. He did what he loved to do. That’s what keeps you alive every day.Life is too long to reject the opportunities in front of you every day.I was talking to James Manos, the creator of Dexter(嗜血法医). He said, “My definition of success is not being able to tell difference between work and pleasure.” It’s OK if right now the two are separate for you. Today is a new day. We say what we want to change. We regret what we never changed. This is my page today.By James Altucher1. The Apple Watch, according to CNN, is “a simple rectangular shape with a range of st ylish and useful wristbands.” “The style is classic in those respects it’s up there with the top quality Swiss watches,” commented the news outlet. The watch will be available in nine places, including the US, the UK and China, from April 24. The starting price is $349 (2,186 yuan). With six different designs and 30 or so wristbands, the gadget “sets the standard for smartwatches, in style,” agreed The Brisbane Times,“but more importantly, in functionality (功能性).” “With the built-in speaker and microphone, you can receive calls on your watch. I have been wanting to do this since I was 5 years old,” said Apple’s chief executive Tim Cook. In fact, anything you can do on the iPhone is there on the watch –e-mails, text messages, airline boarding services, and directions from Apple Maps. Using a home security app, you can keep an eye on your home from afar, or even open a locked door. There are some features that have made Cook sure the watch is “our most personal device yet; a new chapter in the way we relate to technology ”. According to NPR, the watch taps you on the wrist to draw your attention to a message or a calendar reminder, and it can send a tap on the wrist to another Apple Watch wearer. However, the watch can also do things that are just plain fun. You can send a real-time display of your heartbeat to another Apple Watch to “let someone know you are thinking about them.”Patrick Moorhead, a leading technology analyst in the US, described the tech company as “a master in the art of persuasion”. “The secr et weapon is the ability to message each other by tapping on the watch,” he told The Associated Press. “I think people, particularly kids, are going to go nuts (疯狂) over that.” So far, though, the most impressive part of this new device is “the monitoring of the wearer’s health and fitness,” said AFP. It will even tap you on the wrist if you have been sitting down for longer than is good for your health.4. Which of the following features of the Apple Watch aren’t mentioned in the article?A. its priceB. its functionsC. its weightD. when and where people can buy it5. With an Apple Watch, you can ______.A. monitor your health and diagnose yourselfB. send a real-time display of your heartbeat to an iPhoneC. be reminded to move around if you’ve been sitting down for too longD. receive emails, text messages and calls, and open a locked door for your neighbor6. How does the Apple Watch let wearers know there is a new message?A. The watch beeps.B. The watch sends out music.C. The watch changes its screen color.D. The watch taps the wearer on the wrist.7. Which of the following words best describes Tim Cook’s attitude toward the Apple Watch?A. Proud.B. Modest.C. Serious.D. Cautious.CDisease, poverty, hate, love-Charles Dickens’ stories opened his readers eyes to the most important themes of his age. Two hundred years later, his stories still speak volumes across the world, proving that Dickens’ legacy(遗产) was far greater than just “great-literature”.February 7 marks the 200th anniversary of the writer’s birthday. To mark this date, BBC writer Alex Hudson listed six things Dickens gave the modern world. Let’s take a look at two of them.A White ChristmasDickens is described as “the man who invented Christmas”- not the religious festival, but the cultural aspects that we associate with the festive season today. In the early 19th century, Christmas was barely worth mentioning, according to critic and writer Leigh Hunt. The committee which ran the Conservative Party even held ordinary business meetings on Christmas Day-unthinkable in the West nowadays, when everyone but the most necessary workers takes at least three days off. Many people believe that D ickens’ popular descriptions of the festive period became a blueprint for generations to come. In his classic novel, A Christmas Carol, he not only put forward the idea of snow at Christmas, but also painted a picture of glowing warmth-“home enjoyments, af fections and hopes”.In his biography of Dickens, Peter Ackroyd wrote: “Dickens can be said to have almost single-handedly created the modern idea of Christmas.”“Dickens ian” povertyDickens was one of the first to take an honest look at the underclass and the poor of Victorian London. He helped popularize the term“red tape” to describe situations where people in power use needless amounts of bureaucracy(官僚作风) in a way that particularly hurts the weaker and poorer members of society.“Dickensian” has now become a powerful word for describing an unacceptable level of poverty. In 2009, when the president of the Association of Teachers and Lecturers in the UK wanted to talk about poverty in some areas of Britain, she did not use words like “terrible” or “horrific”, but rather described it as “life mirroring the times of Dickens”.8. The article is mainly about ____________ .A. a brief introduction to Charles Dickens’B. Charles Dickens’ impact on the worldC. the characters in Charles Dickens’ storiesD. Charles Dickens’ achievements in literature9. Why is Dickens’ called “the man who invented Christmas”?A. Because he created both religious and cultural festival.B. Because his novels have something to do with Christmas.C. Because one of his novels helped to shape Christmas celebrations.D. Because he was the first man to have proposed celebrating Christmas.10. We can learn from the passage that ______________.A. Charles Dickens’ novels reflect the true life at his ageB. Dickensian is widely used to describe the ChristmasC. every person can take three days off for ChristmasD. The theme of Charles Dickens’ stories is about poverty11.

Even 66 (bad), the amount of fast food that people eat goes up. Fast food 67 (be) full of fat and salt; by 68 (eat) more fast food people will get more salt and fat than they need in their diet.Having enough fat and salt in your meals will reduce the urge to snack(吃点心) between meals and will improve the taste of your food. However, be 69 (care) not to go to extremes. Like anything, it is possible to have too much of both, 70 is not good for the health.【解析】本文是一篇说明文。

高考英语2018年命题预测及应试策略高考英语expect(期盼);r-refuse(拒绝);d-dare(敢),desire(渴望), determine(决心),decide(决定),demand(要求);o-offer(企图);w-want(想要),wish(希望); p-promise(答应),pretend(假装), plan(计划);h-hope; l-long(渴望),learn(学习);a-ask(要求), arrange(安排)。

参考词汇:①人大代表an NPC deputy ②减缓堵塞ease congestion③尾气排放exhaust emissionPossible Version One:A Bicycle Rental Proposal for Beijing Olympic GamesAn NPC deputy put forward the proposal that Beijing city government put 50,000 bicycles for rent before or during the Olympic Games. New bicycles will be available close to exits of subway stations, commercial districts, Olympic stadiums, hotels and office buildings.I quite agree with the proposal, though there will be a challenge in managing the renting and returning of the bicycles. As we know, Beijing’s sky remains mostly gray partly because of exhaust emission. To pull many motor vehicles off the roads every day is, too, a solution to air pollution and traffic congestion. Cycling is also a good exercise, especially for those working in offices. Only by doing so will we offer tourists a choice to enjoyfresh air as well as the Olympic Games in Beijing.Possible Version Two:A Bicycle Rental Proposal for Beijing Olympic GamesAn NPC deputy put forward the proposal that Beijing city government put 50,000 bicycles for rent before or during the Olympic Games. New bicycles will be available close to exits of subway stations, commercial districts, Olympic stadiums, hotels and office buildings.I can’t agree with the proposal completely, with the following reasons. First, it is not very convenient for tourists to rent and return the bicycles. Second, it also needs a lot of extra space to park bicycles. Third, bicycles are frequently stolen in the city, which will probably annoy and give more trouble to those renting them. It will also take more time to go to the distant destinations by bike than by bus, though it is still not a bad choice.2奥运会一天天向我们大步走来,‚如何与奥运冠军一同成长‛已成为全国青少年的热门话题和关注的焦点。
