Step I Speaking & lead in
Get the students to talk about questions in THINK ABOUT IT:
Do you like to talk about yourself to others? Why or why not?
What do you do when you feel nervous?
Step II Reading
Ask the students to read the text silently. Then the teacher presents some difficult language points to the class.
Language points:
1. It is time for sb. to do sth.
E.g. It is time for me to go to school.

E.g. I do well in (be good at) English.

E.g. The teacher asks me to write a passage.
Step III Listening
Ask students to listen to the tape. Then ask some of them to retell the text to the class.
Step IV Discussing
Get the students to do Let’s Do It. There are many famous people around you, su ch as football players, movie star and singer. Is there a famous person whom you admire? Talk about him or her with a partner.
