The Four Seasons
Winter is so fun! I love playing in the snow and making snowmen. But it gets pretty cold. I have to wear a big coat, hat, and gloves. Sometimes there's ice on the ground and it's slippery. We can go sledding down the big hills though! I like drinking hot chocolate to warm up after playing outside.
Then spring comes along. Everything starts blooming with pretty flowers. The weather gets warmer so we don't need our heavy jackets anymore. It rains a lot in spring. I have to carry an umbrella. But after the rain, there are lots of puddles to splash in! Baby animals are born in spring too which is really cute.
My favorite is summer because we're out of school! I can play outside all day. We go to the pool and beach a lot. The days are long and hot. Sometimes it's too hot and we have to run the air conditioning. We eat lots of popsicles and ice cream in summer. I have sleepovers with my friends too.
Autumn is pretty with all the changing leaves. Reds, oranges, and yellows are so bright! It starts getting colder again though. We rake up piles of fallen leaves in the yard. Jumping in the leaf piles is awesome! We go trick-or-treating on Halloween night. I love candy! Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday in autumn because of all the delicious food.

The Four Seasons
Spring is a nice time. Trees get green leaves. Flowers bloom pretty colors like red and yellow. Baby animals are born like lambs and chicks. It rains a lot but that helps plants grow. Spring is when nature wakes up after winter.
Summer is hot! Kids don't have school so we can play outside all day. My family goes to the beach or the pool to swim. We have picnics and barbecues. Fireflies glow at night. Fruits like watermelons and cherries are in season. Summer is fun but sometimes too hot.
Fall is cooler weather. Leaves change bright red, orange and yellow before falling off trees. We go apple picking at the orchard. Halloween is in fall when we get to dress up and
trick-or-treat. Pumpkin everything is popular like pumpkin pie and pumpkin spice lattes. Fall reminds us winter is coming.
Winter is the cold season. We get snow where I live which is exciting! No school on snow days so we can sled and have snowball fights. We put up Christmas lights and decorations. Winter can be bitter cold but fun if you bundle up. We look forward to spring coming again.

The Four Seasons
Wow, seasons are so cool! There are four seasons every year - spring, summer, fall, and winter. Each season is different and special.
In spring, the trees grow new leaves and pretty flowers bloom. The weather gets warmer after being cold in winter. Baby animals like lambs and chicks are born. Everything looks so green and fresh in spring! One of my favorite things is playing outside without a heavy coat on.
Then summer comes along and it's hot, hot, hot! The sun shines bright and the days are long. School is out so I have lots of free time. Summer is great for swimming, having picnics, and going on vacation. My family likes to go camping and make
s'mores over the campfire. I love summer!
After summer is over, fall arrives. The weather turns cooler and the leaves change colors - red, yellow, orange, and brown. They fall off the trees and make a crispy carpet to play in. Pumpkins are ripe for Halloween and Thanksgiving. My favorite part of fall is jumping in leaf piles!
Finally, it's wintertime. The air is freezing and snow falls from the sky. Icicles hang from the roof and we can see our breath. Sledding and ice skating are so much fun in winter! Building a snowman is my top winter activity. I also enjoy cuddling inside with some hot chocolate.

The Four Seasons
I like the seasons. They are fun and cool. Each one is different.
Spring is pretty. The trees get new green leaves. Flowers bloom everywhere. Birds fly back from the South. Baby animals are born. It rains a lot in spring. I like playing in the puddles.
Summer is hot and sunny. School lets out for summer break.
I can stay up late and sleep in. We go to the pool and beach. We have picnics and BBQs. Fireworks happen on the 4th of July. Summer means no homework!
Fall is colorful. The leaves turn red, yellow and orange. We go apple picking. Pumpkins are everywhere for Halloween. We rake big leaf piles then jump in them. The air gets crisp and cool. We wear jackets again.
Winter is freezing! The trees look bare and dead. But snow falls thick and white. We go sledding and have snowball fights.
Hot chocolate tastes so good after being out in the cold. At Christmas we decorate a tree inside and open presents. Winter break means no school for weeks!
I'm glad we have four seasons. Each one brings fun new activities and changes to look forward to. If it was just one season all year, it would get boring. The seasons make life more exciting and never the same!

My Favorite Seasons
I love the seasons! They are so much fun. Spring, summer, fall, and winter are all great in their own way. Let me tell you about them.
Spring is really nice. The weather gets warmer after the cold winter. Pretty flowers start to bloom like daffodils, tulips, and roses. Trees grow new green leaves. Baby animals like lambs, chicks, and bunnies are born. I love seeing them run and hop around! Spring is a time when everything starts coming back to life after the sleepy winter season.
Next comes summer and that's my favorite time of year! School is out so I have no homework or tests. I can sleep late,
play outside all day, and have big fun at the pool or beach. The summer days are long and sunny. It's perfect weather for hiking, biking, camping, and cookouts. Fireworks are awesome on hot summer nights. I love summer!
The fall season is cool too, get it? Cool! The leaves change beautiful colors like red, yellow, and orange. I rake them into big piles and jump right in! Crisp fall air smells like cider and pumpkin spice. Apple picking is so fun at the orchards. Carving jack-o-lanterns for Halloween is my favorite fall activity. I come up with the silliest, scariest faces! Thanksgiving is a great fall holiday for turkey, pie, and family time.
Finally, there's winter which I used to hate but now I like it okay. It's freezing cold and snowy, but that means no school, sledding, hot cocoa, and building frosty snowmen and epic snow forts for battles! The holiday lights and decorations make the dark nights brighter. Christmas is in winter too with presents, cookies, Santa, and vacation from school. Pretty neat if you think about it!
