It is a reading class about body parts.The language t arget of this lesson aims to improve students’ reading ability by understanding the text and then develop their ability to using what they learnt into practice in daily communication. The topic of this lesson is weekend. So it is easy for students to understand and it also can arouse students’ interest.Part II. The concept of the teaching designAccording to the new curriculum published in 2017, a teacher should develop students’ language ability by creating various situations of daily life and apply different teaching strategies through different activities. The curriculum also promotes task-based learning with the guidance of the teacher. The students can gain a sense of achievement by reaching the goals of the task. So this design focuses on language practice to develop students’ language ability through different tasks such as : listening, reading, and presentation.Part III. Teaching aims based on key competencesThe fundamental aim of the new curriculum is to develop students’ language competence.
