根据学生的年龄特点和认知规律,结合学生的实际学习情况(第一课时已学习职业单词(teacher, doctor, nurse and secretary)及句型What do you do? I’m a…. What does he/she do? He’s/She’s a….)第二课时的教学目标是通过教学使学生能听懂会说police officer, fire fighter, taxi driver, office worker这些职业单词以及运用 What do you want to be? I want to be …这组对话进行交流;通过学习Conversation,能流利地表达自己的远大理想和询问别人的理想职业。

重点是本课的新单词、句型和Conversation。

难点是多音节单词的发音以及句子的灵活运用。

通过多媒体、网络和模拟真实的情景,为学生营造语言环境,能创造性地自编对话,拓展话题,让学生在完成‚设想未来的职业→模仿未来的职业特征→模拟未来的工作场景‛这一任务中,提高语言交际能力,并培养学生使用计算机获取信息、整理资料和一定的信息素养能力。

一、学生分析本节课教学设计的对象是四年级的小学生。

通过三年级一年的学习,他们已经掌握了一些简单的问候语和对话,也积累了一定的词汇量,有一定的语音、语调基础,能听懂一些常用的课堂用语,并能较积极地参与课堂的游戏和活动。

学生敢于开口,乐于模仿,喜欢表现自己,对英语学习兴趣浓厚,已具备初步的用英语进行交际的能力。

懂得对计算机的基本操作和上网浏览,能用电脑作简单的绘画以及发送电子邮件。

三、教学内容:(1)Book Four Unit11 P56 Vocabulary的单词和词组:taxi driver, fire fighter, police officer, office worker, secretary, doctor, nurse, teacher.(2)Book Four Unit11 P56 Target句型:What do you do? Point to the rest of the pictures at random and ask the same question. Read and say

T: Look at A. ( S1’s name), can you read the sentence?
S1: The barber has a big baby.
T: Now, can you find the sound / b / in the sentence? Circle the words that have the sound / b /.
Continue with the rest.
Have Ss read the sentences aloud with natural speed.
