2. 通过学习日记,复习前三个单元的主要词汇和句型,培养学生整理知识的能力。

3. 简单复习前三个单元学习的语音知识。

1. 教师准备多媒体课件、录音机和录音带、词卡。

2. 学生准备画笔和画纸。

教学过程

一、课前热身(Warm-up)

1. Free talk

T: Good morning, everyone.

Ss: Good morning, teacher.

T: Nice to meet you.[来源:m]

Ss: Nice to see you, too.

2. 播放歌曲“What do you like to eat today?”的录音,全班学生跟着录音唱。

二、课前预习(Preview)

1. 教师出示食物图片,全班学生快速说出相应的英语单词。

2. 学生在四人小组内谈论自己最喜欢的食物,如:

S1: My favourite food is ice cream. What about you, S2?

S3: My favou rite food is hamburger. What about you, S4?

S4: My favourite food is noodles. What about you, S1?

三、新课呈现(Presentation)

1. Wil low Primary School’s menu.

(1) 介绍背景。

T: In the last period, w e know that Chen Jie is at Willow Primary School. She is visiting the school. During her visit, we know about the teachers and subjects in the school. Now we will learn about the school menu.

(2) 教师用多媒体课件学校菜单,问:“What do they have on Mondays / …?”,学生根据菜单内容回答:“They have … on Mondays / …”

(3) 介绍阅读任务。

T: Today is Monday. It’s time for lunch. Chen Jie is in th e lunch room. Please read the menu and the dialogue. Then fill in the blanks.

(4) 请一对学生站起来用问答的方式呈现答案。

(5) Role-play

学生同桌合作,在白纸上画几个盘子,每个盘子上面有各种食物。一位学生扮演服务员,一位学生扮演客人,表演情景对话,如:

S1: What would you like to eat?

S2: A hamburger, please.

2. Chen Jie’s diary.

(1) 简单介绍日记内容。

T: Chen Jie at Willow Primary School. She knows something about the teachers, subjects and school menu in the school. Then she writes a diary about what she knows

a bout the school. Let’s read the diar y and tick or cross.

(2) 学生自主阅读日记,并根据日记内容判断句子正(T)误(F)。

① There are many red flowers at Willow Primary School.

②David is clever and hard-working.

③ The food at school is delicious.

Answer:

① F, ② T, ③ T

(3) Find “friends” for the words in the diary.

学生从陈洁的日记中找出含有划线部分读音的单词,师生一起核对答案,然后教师带领学生把单词读几遍,最后学生在四人小组内读一读,并相互纠正错误的发音。[来源:ZXXK]

(4) Rearrange the words. Write down the sentences.

学生给单词排序,教师请三位学生读一读句子,并让学生把自己喜欢的句子在抄写本上抄三遍。

课堂练习——学生仿照下面的短文,用适当的词代替画线部分的词,重新写一篇小短文,并在小组内阅读、评议。

I have a new teacher. She’s Miss Li. Sh e’s very kind. She’s active, too. Her favourite food is mutton. She likes her students very much. She often goes shopping and watches TV on the weekend.
