但是,五年级学生课堂氛围不那么活跃,教师要善于调动学生积极性,提高课堂氛围,培养并维持学生的英语学习兴趣,提高英语素养,形成积极的情感态度和自主学习的能力。
在四年级曾经学过What subjects do you have?I have….What do you do after school?I often ….Sometimes I….来描述自己的科目和业余生活,所以由此引入本课知识是最好的方法。
效果分析1、课前学生搜集科目单词和动词短语为本课节约了很多时间,并且有课前的预习在课文后只是运用阶段很流畅、学生很愿意说说自己的小调查。
2、本课以Lucy这个角色引入(Hello,everyone.I’m Lucy.I’m from Canada.Let’s befriends,OK?I want to go to China.What subjects do you have?----In China,I like the subjects.What do you do after school?)贯穿整堂课,到最后为Lucy写一份信介绍自己和朋友在学校的情况都是很连贯的,学生明白语言运用的语境,效果很好。

五年级上册Unit 4 School in Canada(第一课时)【课时教学设计】Lesson 1 Lucy is in a new school.一、教材与学情分析Lesson 1 Lucy is in a new school.是本单元的第一节课,重点内容为Lucy在校的学习科目和放学后的自主活动。
教材文本共分三部分:Part1 Listen and say, part 2 Let’s talk , part 3 Let’s do .本课的教学要围绕Lucy的学习生活进行整体教学设计,首先是Lucy去了一所新校,主要了解Lucy的学习科目和课后的生活,然后是让同学们谈论一下Lucy的近况,最后是向Lucy介绍一下自己的生活,在此线索下完成文本的处理,有助于保持课堂的完整性和学生语言知识的系统建构。
对于对话内容的处理要注意首尾的呼应和文化意识的渗透。
首尾的呼应是指对话开始的She likes her new school,和结尾的She’s very happy,处理好这一点会让情感目标的达成出现水到渠成的效果。
根据学生实际,我们在处理She has French这一点时,有必要涉及到加拿大学校开设法语课的传统。
学生在学习这一节课之前,在学科表达、课下生活的描述有了一定的知识储备,在新课之前要通过简单的任务活动进行了解和复习;对于Lucy,在前面教材出现的相对较少,但同学们对她也并不陌生,三年级下册第五单元Lucy第一次出现,而且刚好是参观了Li Ming 所在的学校,“时过境迁”,我们要充分地利用好这一资源,并引导学生在Li Ming的话语中感受他的心情。
由于本节课主人公并没有出场,主要是谈论Lucy的校园和课下生活,所以,在学习方式上应主要采用学生合作的形式,但要利用学生习惯将自己的生活与他人进行“比较”的特点,引导好学生的自主思维,让学生说出自己的生活。
