(媒体呈现)T:表示次序的数词称为序数词。

表达日期时要用序数词,它的构成方法是这样的:一般是在相应的基数词词尾加-th,,如tenth(第十)。

但下面的这些词变为序数词的方法比较特殊:a. on e→first, two→second, three→-third, five-→fifth,eight→eighth, nine→ninth, twelve→twelfthb. 以-ty结尾的词,要先变y为i,再加—eth, 如twenty—twentieth,forty---fortieth.c. 以one,two,three,five,eight,nine结尾的多位数词,要按照第一条的方法变。

如:twenty—one--------twenty---first;twenty---two--------twenty---second, thirty---five---------thirty---fifth; ninety—nine---------ninety---ninth; a hundred and fifty---three---------a hundred and fifty---thirdd.序数词前面常常加定冠词the.有时会加不定冠词a,或物主代词。

e.序数词有时用缩写形式:1st=first; 2nd=second; 3rd=third; 4th=fourth;22nd=twenty-second3.练一练:用序数词数一数自己座位分别是横排和竖排第几个,自己的学号是第几。

七.板书设计教材分析本单元主要围绕 Ben's birthday这一话题,把“询问日期”,“发出邀请”,征求意见“等日常交际用语和有关词汇,句型有机结合起来。

不仅呈现了大量语言材料,还展示了英语国家”过生日“这一风俗人情。

教师在教学语言材料的同时,要注意开展丰富的活动,让学生在活动中体会这一风俗人情,培养学生跨文化的交际能力。

教案背景吉姆在本的班级是一个新的学生,他住的靠本家很近,本放学后经常和吉姆一起回家,今天,本正在拜访吉姆,他们在吉姆的房间,正在谈论本的生日。

教学方法本课时主要学习日期表达法和“询问生日“的两组句型。

针对日期表达法这一难点,我采用分层次教学,逐个突破的方法,化解难点。

教学句型时采用以旧带新,温故知新的方法,并通过创设情境,将句型融化在有情景的对话中,使学生在操练句型时学到现实生活中有交际价值的语言。

最后可以安排任务型语言实践活动,激发学生语言表达的欲望和参与活动的热情,让学生在体验.合作与交流中培养语言运用能力。
