本单元围绕物品的位置摆放展开话题,2a-2c 是以2b 为中心的阅读任务链.2a 让学生根据图画提示写出学过的或者知道的物品名称,为阅读2b 的文章提供词汇铺垫;然而,本节课的重点是2b 的阅读语篇,2b 介绍了一个生活中井井有条的孩子,他的整洁和妹妹(姐姐)的杂乱形成新明对比,该阅读活动设计渗透了应该合理摆放物品的思想教育,2b 主要训练略读策略,让学生归纳总结文章大意;2c 通过训读策略,训练学生的提取细节信息的能力,也是对本单元主要词汇和介词结构的巩固。
通过2a-2c 的学习,学生进一步巩固和运用所学语言,并从读逐步过渡到写,以帮助学生养成保持房间整洁的良好习惯。
本节课的难点是重点词汇tidy ,our, everywhere ,always 的掌握,以及方位介词短语描述物品位置的运用。
基于对教材及学情的分析,在新英语课程标准基础上,我对本节课教学内容作了适当调整与整合。
1)2a 部分由写出物品单词调整为描述图片物品的位置,复习巩固A 部分内容的同时,为2b 阅读训练做好词汇、句型铺垫。
2)将2b 、2c 融为一体,将2c 训练融入到2b 阅读活动中,并在此基础上设计了其他类型的阅读任务,如判断正误,选词填空,精讲点拨,看图复述等,突出教学重难点,以期做到对2b 的充分阅读与理解。
3)结合3a 部分,引导学生设计自己的“小天地”,养成学生整理房间的好习惯,达到知识的巩固训练。

It’s the 4th’s reading part. The topic of this unit is about things around the house. Students have learned how to use the target language “Where’s …?It’s …”, “Where are …? They’re …”.and three prepositions in/on/ under to talk about where things are in the first three lessons. The passage in 2b is Kate's selfmonologue, which focuses on the arrangement of objects in the room of two sisters, Kate and Gina. Kate first introduced her relationship with Gina and their habits, saying, "I'm tidy, but Gina is not." She then introduced her and Gina's belongings and the result of her sister’s bad habit—she cannot find her things in her room. At the same time, the scenes and objects are close to the students' actual lives, which are helpful for students to form resonance in the article, so that they can unconsciously establish healthy living habits and form clean health habits while reading the article.二、Analysis of studentsThe students in Grade 7 have just entered junior high school for only two months. Most of them e from countryside. On the one hand, although they started to learn English in Grade 3, they even learned the same topic in primary school, they forgot because of such a long time, so only a few of them learned English well.
