阿尔法冷 Eisbaer 200 CPU 黑色水暖器说明书
What is it?Alphacool Eisbaer 200 CPU - BlackHighlightsThe Alphacool Eisbaer is an expandable, refillable CPU all-in-one watercooler with a pure copper radia-tor. The Eisbaer can be expanded with additional Eisbaer Ready products such as the Eiswolf GPX-Pro graphics card cooler, among others.•Quick connectors make it easy to expand and upgrade with Eisbaer Ready• Pure copper radiator for maximum cooling performance• DC-LT 2 Ultra Low Noise ceramic pump for whisper-quiet operation •Refillable via the fill port on the reservoirArticle textWith the “Eisbaer”, Alphacool is fundamentally revolutionizing the AIO cooler market. Where traditional AIO CPU-coolers are disposable products which are neither upgradeable nor refillable, the Alphacool “Eisbaer” is modularly built and can be upgraded, rebuilt or refilled at any time. This means that the “Eisbaer” is not only an AIO, but also fully built on classic water cooling components. That means it is quieter and more powerful than the average AIO solution.RadiatorAlphacool depends on a radiator made of pure copper. The base of the radiator is the popular Alphacool NexXxoS series, which is well-loved around the world. The pure copper construction raises the cooling performance enormously compared to the usual aluminium radiators used in classic AIOs. The slight thickness of the fins ensures enormous cooling power in fans with low rotational speed. This ensures that the performance of the “Eisbaer” when adjusting the fans down decreases much more slowly than in radi-ators with higher fin thickness.HosesThe flexible PVC hoses make installing the “Eisbaer” easy. These hoses are easier to arrange and move into the right position. So the hoses don’t bend and stop the flow of the water, both hoses have been fit-ted with anti-kink springs. The 11/8 mm size is also a standard in the water cooling field, alongside the13/10 and 16/10.Quick-lock closureThe “Eisbaer” was designed with expandability directly in mind. This is why you’ll find a quick-lock closure on one of the hoses. This quick-lock mechanism is compatible with Alphacool HF quick-lock closures (1010383, 1010394, 1010395, 1010442), with which the circuit can easily be expanded to include anything from a radiator to a graphics card cooler. Furthermore, the “Eisbaer” is compatible with the upcoming Alphacool GPX-Pro graphics card AIO, which will use identical quick-lock closures.ConnectorsAll connectors are based on the classic G1/4 inch thread, the standard thread in the water cooling field. This way, all attachments can be switched out for others any time as desired. This also means that, for example, you could later decide to switch to thicker hoses or even HardTubes and set your system uniquely apart. All these features make the “Eisbaer” cooler into something extraordinary. Its enhanced appearance from the illuminated logo and the illuminated reservoir, which also contains the pump, lets the interior of your PC shine in a whole new way. The soft-touch surface of the pump case is a further visual highlight. With the “Eisbaer”, you get an all-around perfect product that is not only extremely high-powered but also works very quietly.PumpsThe basis of the pumps is the Alphacool DC-LT 2 Ceramic, also available separately. The pump runs ex-tremely quietly and can be regulated to between 7 and 12V. It can also be regulated through the mother-board. If the “Eisbaer” is being run alone, the 7V setting will still have next to no performance loss, as shown in diverse test results. The insulated pump case further perfects the noise generation and ensures that vibrations are almost completely absorbed. The smooth and shiny polished copper base of the cooler ensures optimal heat absorption and can relay the heat over the fine slit structure of the cooler to the water quickly and efficiently. To operate the Alphacool Eisbaer 200 CPU - Black at least one 200 mm fan is required. There are NO fans included in delivery!。

These include the AMD Threadripper and Epyc processors and the Intel CPUs for the LGA 3647 and LGA 4189 socket.Large cooling surfaceThe cold plate bottom covers the entire surface of the respective processors. The area of the cooling fins exceeds all known processor cores with an area of around 55 x 42 mm. This ensures that all hotspots of a CPU are directly covered and thus optimally cooled. The cooling fins are 0.4 mm thick and also have an optimal distance of 0.4 mm between them. In total there are 58 cooling fins on the bottom of the cooler. The bottom of the cooler is only 3 mm thick, which allows the heat to reach the water and be dissipated as quickly as possible.Copper radiatorAs per usual with Alphacool, the radiators are made of copper. Alphacool is the first manufacturer worldwide to use copper for all water bearing components such as the antechambers, the cooling fins and the cooling channels to which the fins are soldered. The connection threads are made of brass for strength reasons. In addition, the cooling fins are only lightly painted. On closer inspection the copper shimmers through a little. A thick lacquer coating would result in a reduction of the cooling capacity. The fin density is at optimal 15FPI. Therefore the radiator works perfectly even at low airflow. A too high fin density would require fans with higher speed to achieve the same cooling capacity. A lower fin density would no longer benefit from fast rotating fans. So the golden mean was chosen.Real water coolingThe Eisbaer Pro Aurora consists almost entirely of actual water cooling components. The extremely robust and durable TPV hoses are used in the enterprise products for servers and workstations. The hose connections also come from the Enterprise series from Alphacool and use the standard G1/4". This makes the Eisbaer Pro Aurora fully compatible with all common water cooling products. The quick-release fastener allows easy expansion of the AIO with additional components. The most important of these are the prefilled radiators and the Eiswolf GPU AIO water cooling system.Fan and lightingThe entire Eisbaer Aurora Pro cooler is equipped with addressable digital RGB LEDs. This gives a real eye-catcher in the Case. The fan used is the Aurora Rise with 120mm. Due to the special blade design, the fan is extremely quiet and the addressable RGB LEDs provide brilliant illumination. The Alphacool Aurora Rise fan convinces with a max. statistical pressure of 3.17mm/H2O and offers a max. air flow of 119.8m3/h. The PWM control allows the fan to be controlled over a wide speed range. Inaddition, it offers a zero control. It can therefore be regulated down to 0 rpm and then starts with approx. 350 rpm. Of courseall Digital RGB LEDs can be controlled at will. Depending on the controller almost all effects are possible. How to connect everythingThe fans are normally controlled via a 4-pin PWM connector. An included Y-adapter for the fans makes it easy to connect them to the mainboard. This allows all fans to be controlled and regulated via one connector. Each fan has a 3-pin JST connector including Y-adapter for the LED illumination. This allows the fans to be connected directly together and can also be controlled simultaneously via a controller. For the connection to a typical 3-pin 5V connector a corresponding adapter is included. Alternatively, the included Digital RGB controller can be used. The pump of the Eisbaer Aurora uses a 3-pin Molex connector. This can also be connected to the mainboard. The Eisbaer Pro Aurora is a true multi-talent. Expandable, fully compatible with DIY water cooling components and it is the optimal solution for the most powerful processors on the market.。

Control cabinet including EPC 60 and optional starterS and P Flex separation systemsAlfa Laval’s S and P Flex separation systems combine the high efficiency, low sludge output and low operating cost of Alfa Laval centrifugal separators with a flexible scope of supply. Extensive possibilities for the separation system layout and assembly make it possible to suit any engine room and any oil separation application. In addition, S and P Flex separation systems feature the EPC 60 controller, which enables the intuitive navigation of menus, parameters and alarms. The EPC 60 controller also has a modular construction for easy I/O board addition and replacement. The S and P Flex separation concept includes the complete S- and P separator range. These can be combined in mixed ship sets, even within a single customer-specified module.Flex system components for P separators 626/636.* P separators 626/636 can also be used to clean heavier oils with well-defined densities.Application P separatorsP separators are based on purifier technology, which means that the oil/water interphase is manually adjusted by means of a gravity disc. Because the separators do not automati-cally adjust to varying oil density, they are most suitable for economical cleaning of the following:• Lubricating oils • Distillates• Lighter diesel oilsIf the oil is well defined and does not vary in d en s ity, P sepa-rators can also be manually adjusted to clean heavy fuel oils with densities up to 991 kg/m 3 and viscosities up to 700 cSt/50ºC.P separators are designed for automatic operation at sea and in automated power stations ashore.SeparatorModule examplesSingle Flex module with separator (excluding heater and pump)Single Flex module with separator, heater and pumpQuadruple Flex modulewith separators, heaters and pumpsDischarge slideCentriLockScope of supplyThe S and P Flex separation concept p rovides a wide range of alternatives for P separators. Depending on the need, a P separator can be supplied as a separator and ancillaries, as a customer-specified module, or as part of a comprehensive p ackage including services and order-specific documentation. These P separators come equipped with energy-efficient IE3 motors.Flex systemA P separator with ancillaries in the form of optimized block components provides full say over the use of space. This allows for local modularization or do-it-yourself assembly.Flex modulesA compact P separator module can be built to a customer-specified configuration from a wide range of modular skids and machine blocks. Multi-modules are possible, as well as mixed modules including one or more S-separators and/or P separators for the simultaneous treatment of different types of mineral oils. All Flex modules are factory tested to ensure faster start-up and commissioning.Features and benefits• Small footprint, high flexibilityThe small separator and the modular nature of the surrounding components allow easy installation and flexible positioning in the engine room.• No water tankNo tank is needed to supply operating water, which further simplifies installation.• High separation efficiencyAn optimized design ensures the best possible separation efficiency from the bowl and disc stack.• CentriShootThe CentriShoot discharge systemgreatly reduces sludge volumes. Its fixed discharge slide flexes gently to expose the discharge ports, thereby eliminating metal-to-metal wear.• CentriLockThe CentriLock bowl-locking system uses a lightweight, non-threaded snap ring. This prevents wear by allowing easy removal without a sledgehammer.• Long service intervalsWear-preventing features like CentriShoot and CentriLock reduce the consumption of spare parts and allow plannedmaintenance to be performed less often. This reduces operating costs.• Easy operation and service T he PLC based EPC 60 controller is designed for “one-button” starts and stops, as well as intuitive menu navi-gation. Information about parameters and alarms can be easily accessed, which simplifies both operation and troubleshooting. The EPC 60 also has a modular construction that enables faster troubleshooting and I/O board replacement.• Remote control and monitoring Using Ethernet or Bus communica-tion, Flex systems and modules based on P separators 626/636 canbe operated and supervised remotely from the c ontrol room. Untreated oil, heated to the correct temperature, is fed continuously to the separator, which is driven by an electric motor via a friction clutch and belt. The separator bowl is fixed at the top of a spindle, which is supported by bearings and special composite springs. This bowl can be arranged as a purifier or as a clarifier. Both configurations remove sludge, which accumulates at the bowl periphery and is intermittently discharged by the high-precision CentriShoot discharge system. In a purifier configuration, both sludge and water are separated from the oil, which means that water is continuously discharged from the bowl. The EPC 60controller automatically controls the admission of water for the water seal and the displacement of oil prior to sludge discharge, but a gravity disc is needed to establish the correct interphase position in the separator bowl, i.e. the boundary between the oil and the water seal. The size of the gravity disc must be matched to the oil’s density, viscosity/temperature and feed rate to the separator. In a clarifier configuration, a clarifier disc is fitted instead of a gravity disc. The water outlet is blocked, which means that the separator’s water-handling capacity is limited and that water accumulates like sludge.During normal operation, vital process parameters are monitored. These parameters, as well as alarms, are indicated by easy-to-understand text messages on the LCD display of the EPC 60 controller. The EPC 60 controller provides many alarm functions, including alarms for low oil pressure, high sludge tank level (if the optional sludge removal kit is included) and power failure. Additional functions are available for a vibration alarm when the optional vibration sensor is fitted.System layout1. Feed pump2. Heater3. Pneumatically controlledchange-over valve 4. Solenoid valve block, waterLow-wear mechanical platformS separators 921–987 and P separators 626/636 are built on a low-wear mechanical platform thatfeatures CentriShoot and CentriLock. The CentriShoot discharge system, which greatly reduces sludgevolumes, has a fixed discharge slide that flexes gently to expose the discharge ports, thereby eliminating metal-to-metal wear. The CentriLock bowl-locking system uses a lightweight, non-threaded snap ring that prevents wear by allowing easy removal without a sledgehammer.CentriShootInstead of a sliding bowl bottom, the CentriShoot discharge system features a fixed discharge slide that flexes at its edge. This increases discharge accuracy and does away with metal-to-metal wear.CentriLockConventional lock rings are threaded and must be removed with a sledgehammer. Over time, the metal-to-metal wear between bowl and lock ring can lead to expensive bowl repair or replacement.Instead of a conventional lock ring, the CentriLock bowl-locking system features a non-threaded snap ring. This lightweight ring snaps quickly into place and is easilyremoved with only an Allen key.Step one:The CentriShoot discharge slide is fixed at the centre. During separation, the slide covers the discharge ports. An Allen key is the only tool needed to work with CentriLock. No sledgehammer is necessary.Step two:During sludge discharge, the edge of the slide flexes downward, exposing the discharge ports. The CentriLock snap ring lifts out and snaps in easily – without any threads to wear.Step three:After discharge, the slide moves gently back into position to close the ports. This is done hydraulically, without any springs.EMD00232EN 1509Alfa Laval reserves the right to change specifications without prior notification. How to contact Alfa LavalUp-to-date Alfa Laval contact details for all countries are always available on our website at C e n t r i L o c k , C e n t r i S h o o t a n d H E A T P A C a r e t r a d e m a r k s o w n e d b y A l f a L a v a l C o r p o r a t e A B . 阿尔法拉維 ThinkTop 基本 AS-Interface 自動感測和控制介紹说明书
The ThinkTop Basic AS-Interface valve sensing and control unit consists of a proven no-touch, set-and-forget sensor system with light-emitting diodes (LEDs), solenoid valves, and valve control sensor board for connection toany programmable logic controller (PLC) system with an AS-Interface v3.0, 62 node. It fits on all Alfa Laval hygienic valves; no adapter is required.Installation is straightforward. No special expertise or tools are required. To initiate manual setup, simply press a push-button startup sequence.Working principleThe sensor system accurately detects valve stem movement, the position of the valve at any given time, with an accuracy of ± 0.1mm through the use of microchip sensors. To locate the current valve position, sensor chips inside the sensor board calculate the angle between the axial magnetic field produced by an indication pin mounted on the valve stem. The solenoid valves receive signals from the PLC systemto activate or deactivate the air-operated valve. It then transmits feedback signals indicating the main valve position and condition back to the PLC system. In the control unit, up to three electric solenoid valves can physically convert compressed air into mechanical energy to activate or deactivate the pneumatic valve actuator. Each control unit fits any Alfa Laval hygienic valve and hasa valve tolerance band with a default tolerance. This eliminates the need to readjust the sensors and boosts productivity. LEDs conveniently display the main valve position, solenoid activation, setup and local fault indication on the control unit.CertificatesTECHNICAL DATASupply voltage:29.5V - 31.6 VDCSlave profile v3.0:7.A.7.7Default slave address:0Feedback signal #1:De-energized valve Feedback signal #2:Energized valve Feedback signal #5:StatusValve tolerance band options:1Default tolerance band:± 5 mmSensor accuracy:± 0.1 mmStroke length:0.1 - 80 mmAir supply:300-900 kPa (3-9 bar) Type of solenoids:3/2-ways or 5/2-ways Numbers of solenoids:0-3Manual hold override:YesPush-in fittings:ø6 mm or 1/4”Plastic parts:Black Nylon PA 6 Reinforced Seals:Nitrile (NBR) rubberProtection class:IP66 and IP67Protection class equivalent:NEMA 4.4x and 6PMax wire size:0.75 mm2 (AWG 19) Optional main M12 plug: 2 wire (A coded) Note! For further information: See also ESE00356The ThinkTop has Patented Sensor System, Registered Designand Registered Trademark owned by Alfa LavalOptions•Communication interface•Solenoid valve configuration•Pneumatic tubing interface•Main cable connectionAccessories•Various cable options•Threaded plate for indication pin on SRC, SMP-BC and i-SSV valves•Special indication pin for Unique SSV-LS, Unique SSV High Pressure valves •Adaptor for Unique SSSV valvesDimensions (mm)Electrical connection165432782054-0000P11ASI + (BN, brown)2ASI - (BU, blue)3PWM jumber 4PWM jumber5Solenoid common, internal connection (Grey)6Solenoid # 1 internal connection (Grey)7Solenoid # 2internal connection (Grey)8Solenoid # 3internal connection (Grey)M12 plug option13BNBU20500060AS-Interface bits assignmentFor AS-Interface version with 62 node, the following bit assignment can be usedDI0 Feedback #1 De-Energized valve DI1 Feedback #2 Energized valve DI2 Feedback #3 Not connected DI3 Feedback #4 StatusDO0 Out #1 Not Connected DO1 Out #2 Solenoid valve 1DO2 Out #3 Solenoid valve 2DO3Out #4 Solenoid valve 3This document and its contents are subject to copyrights and other intellectual property rights owned by Alfa Laval Corporate AB. Cool performance, high resistance Semi-welded plate heat exchangers for industrial refrigerationThe semi-welded plate heat exchanger consists of a se-ries of thin corrugated twin plates (cassettes) which are laser welded on one side and gasketed on the other side. They combine most of the flexibility and serviceability of normal gasketed plate heat exchangers while obtaining higher pressure resistance on the welded side.A comprehensive range for refrigeration applicationsAlfa Laval offers a wide range of semi-welded plate heat exchangers for most types of primary refrigerants and secondary fluids. They are particularly suitable for refrigeration and heat pump solutions that use ammonia and carbon dioxide, as they offer high resistance against ice formation and fatigue stresses from pressure and/or temperature variations. Depending on size, the units can handle temperature ranges from -45°C (-49°F) to 150°C (302°F) and pressure ranges from below vacuum, up to 63 barg (900 psig). Heat transfer plates can be in stainless steel (AISI304, AISI316, SMO254) or titanium, enabling the handling of a wide variety of fluids with optimal performance.Key benefits of Alfa Laval semi-welded heat exchangersHigh heat transfer • Always turbulent flow • Good flow distribution • High COP factor achievable Compact• Low refrigerant filling • Low environmental impact • Low weight & spaceHigh Resistance• Pressure and temperature fa-tigue resistance• Freezing causes no damage • Corrosion-resistant plate material Flexible design• Add/remove cassettes •Openable for cleaningThe Alfa Laval semi-welded plate heat exchanger rangeTechnical Data (all data for PED versions)MK15BW TK20BW T20BW T20MW MA30W Frame TypeFrame Type Frame TypeFrame TypeFrame TypeFGR FG FG FG FG FDR FDFSFSFDFTFX1486156022022202314065078590078078011701198910123512351620332240393990399052451044878147814781811304363363363561DN150DN200DN200DN200DN300AvailableAvailable NANANAApplicationsAlfa Laval semi-welded plate heat ex-changers are mainly used in refrigeration and heat pump systems for the following applications:• Flooded evaporators • DX evaporators • Cascade systems • Liquid-cooled condensers • Desuperheater/gas coolers (for e.g. heat recovery)• Economizers/subcoolers •Oil coolersLaser-welded cassettes form the higher pressure rated channel side. These are then equipped with a set of separated gaskets: one field gasket forms the intermediate, low-pressure channel, while two ring formed gaskets seal the welded channel cassettes together.Tailored gasket materialRefTight™ sealing system –High-performance gasket sealing for high-pressure dutiesAlfa Laval has developed Reftight TM , a unique, reliable, robust sealing system with a long-life expectancy, for use in refrigeration applications. Its design enables the use of plate technology in applications requiring higher pressure and temperatures. A major feature is the ring-formed gasket groove, designed to fully support the ringgasket sealing at high pressure and temperatures. The groove is formed in the pressed plate and positionedseparate from any laser weld, assuring optimal sealing of the ring gasket. The ReftightTM system allows the use of different materials for ring and field gaskets, enabling gaskets to be combined and selected accordingly to ensure the optimal fit for their specific duty and media combination. Choosing the most suitable gasket material also means lower permeation, which is important for applications in sensitive facilities such as hospitals, supermarkets and other public buildings.Alfa Laval’s unique Reftight TM system ensures a longer gasket lifetime than any other available solution, allowing service intervals to be extended and resulting in lifetime savings for the end-user.Reliable, robust gasket system design• Longer gasket lifetime• Can handle higher pressure and temperatures• Reduced ammonia permeationKey benefits of RefTight TM sealing systemRing gasket Field gasketWeldGasket materials are selected based on the highest resistance for their specific duty and attached for easy replacement by a glue-free construction. The graphs shown are gasket selection guides based on temperature and pressure, with data for the welded and gasketed side shown separately.Material selection for best performanceThe first graph illustrates the operational performance of the high pressure side for a stainless steel cassette with various ring gaskets. 阿尔法拉瓦尔AlfaPure S2系列产品说明说明书
DesignAlfaPure S2 is a complete plug-and-play system c omprising separator, feed pump, sludge pump and EPC 60 controls ystem, mounted on a 1,550 x 900 mm frame. As an option, the frame can be fitted with wheels, simplifying installation and service and allowing the module to be wheeled from tank to tank.Process liquid wetted parts are in stainless steel for optimal compatibility with coolants and wash liquids. The purifierv ersion is equipped as standard with a recirculation valve and pipe, enabling heating and recirculation of the mineral oil, to raise the temperature to an optimal level for highest separation efficiency.Operating principleIn the separator bowl, during the separation process, the cen-trifugal force presses any heavy particles present in the service fluid outwards against the walls of the separator, and they will be discharged automatically from the bowl to the sludge tank. Density differences, if two liquid phases are present (such as coolant and tramp oil, or mineral oil and water) will cause the two phases to separate. The light phase and heavy phase will exit separately through different outlets of the separator.Due to their high speed, disc stack technology, and a utomatic discharge, Alfa Laval centrifugal separators are an extremely efficient and fast way to remove fine solid particles or liquid contaminants from different kinds of service fluids, using either a two-phase or a three-phase AlfaPure S2 module version.Easy to operateAlfaPure S2 is very easy to operate thanks to the EPC 60 control system with simple basic user interface and menus.A robust, well-proven system, designed to Alfa Laval standards and utilizing modern components, the EPC 60 is the standard PLC for Alfa Laval’s popular range of separator modules. The VFD-controlled feed pump ( v ariable flow) has s tepless adjustment for smooth feed, also making it possible to optimize separation performance. Sludge is automatically pumped from the intermediate tank to the disposal container. Automatic back pressure control is available as an option, providing ex-tended automation and making operation even easier.Normally installed in a bypass system, AlfaPure S2 operates continuously without interrupting machinery operations. This also means no plant redesign is needed.A l f a L a v a l i s a t r a d e m a r k r e g i s t e r e d a n d o w n e d b y A l f a L a v a l C o r p o r a t e AB . •Cleaning process can be validated using Alfa LavalRotacheckStandard designThe choice of nozzle diameters can optimize jet impact length and flow rate at the desired pressure.Alfa Laval offers a wide range of tank cleaning machines suitable for different duties and industries. An alternative that offers performance similar to the Alfa Laval SaniJet 20 is the Alfa Laval SaniJet 20 UltraPure for hygienic applications that require full traceability of product-contacted parts and smooth qualification and validation processes through the Alfa Laval Q-doc documentation package.Certificates2.2 material certificate, Q-doc and ATEX.Working principleThe high-impact jet stream from the rotary jet head covers the entire surface 360° of the tank interior in a successively denser pattern. This achieves a powerful mechanical impact with a low volume of water and cleaning media. The flow of the cleaning fluid makes the nozzles perform a geared rotation around the vertical and horizontal axes. In the first cycle, the nozzles lay out a course pattern on the tank surface. The subsequent cycles gradually make the pattern denser until at full cleaning pattern is reached.Once the full cleaning pattern is reached, the machine will start over again and continue to perform the next full cleaning pattern.TECHNICAL DATAAir motor:Must NOT be operated non-lubricatedMin. tank opening:3" clamp - rotacheck N/ACIP media recommended pressure: 5 - 8 barDry, dew point max.: 5 °C Must NOT be operated non-lubricated. Please refer to “DIAGNOSTICS” paragraph for other indications.POWER ON LED on emitter (TX)The green LED ON indicates the correct device functioning. Please refer to “DIAGNOSTICS” paragraph for other indications.INSTALLATION MODEGeneral information on device positioning• Align the two receiver (RX) and emitter (TX) units, verifying that their distance is inside the device operating distance, in a parallel manner placing the sensitive sides one in front of the other, with the connectors oriented on the same side. The critical alignmentof the unit will be signalled by the fast blinking of the green receiver LED.• Mount the two receiver and emitter units on rigid supports which are not subject to strong vibrations, using specific fixing brackets and /or the holes present on the device lids.Precautions to respect when choosing and installing the device• Choose the device according to the minimum object to detect and the maximum controlled area requested.• In agro-industrial applications, the compatibility of light grid housing material and any chemical agents used in the production process has to be verified with the assistance of the DATASENSOR technical sales support department.• The AREA scan TM light grids are NOT safety devices, and so MUST NOT be used in the safety control of the machines where installed. Moreover the following points have to be considered:- Avoid installation near very intense and / or blinking light sources, in particular near to the receiver unit.- The presence of strong electromagnetic disturbances can jeopardise the correct functioning of the device. This condition has to be carefully evaluated and checked with the DATASENSOR technical sales support department;- The presence of smoke, fog and suspended dust in the working environment can reduce the device’s operating distance.- Strong and frequent temperature variations, with very low peak temperatures, can generate a thin condensation layer on the optics surfaces, compromising the correct functioning of the device.- Reflecting surfaces near the luminous beam of the AREA scan TM device (above, under or lateral) can cause passive reflections able to compromise object detection inside the controlled area.- if different devices have to be installed in adjacent areas, the emitter of one unit must not interfere with the receiver of the other unit.General information relative to object detection and measurement• For a correct object detection and / or measurement, the object has to pass completely through the controlled area. Testing the correct detection before beginning the process is suggested. The resolution is non uniform inside the entire controlled area. For example the resolution in the AS1-HR model depends on the scanning program chosen.CONNECTIONSAS1-HR AS1-SR AS1-HR AS1-SR1 – brown: +24 VDC +24 VDC 1 – brown: +24 VDC+24 VDC2 – white:SEL_RXNot used2 – white:SEL_TX Not used3 – blue: 0 V0 V3 – blue: 0 V 0 V4 – black: Switching output Switching output 4 – black:SYNC SYNCRECEIVER (RX):M12 5-pole connector5 – grey: SYNC SYNCEMITTER (TX):M12 4-pole connectorShielded cables are not foreseen in the standard connection.Ground connection of the two units is not necessary. If desired, this connection can be obtained replacing the screw provided in the packaging with the one indicated in the drawing, which blocks the lid of the connector side of each unit. The respect of the connection shown in the drawing, is necessary if ground connection of the entire system is requested.FUNCTIONING AND PERFORMANCESThe beam interruption due to the passage of an object inside the controlled area causes the closing of the switching output and the variation of the device analogue output signal. Small objects can be detected (reaching dimensions of only 0.5 mm) and with a reduced surface area.In particular:The switching output is always activated when at least one beam is obscured. The status variation is signalled by the yellow receiver LED that turns on.The device presents inputs (both on TX and Rx units) that consent the selection of the resolution and response time.Low response times correspond to worser resolutions and viceversa. The device does not require calibration; periodical checks of the resolution and / or measurement are however suggested. The blinking of the green receiver LED (stability function ) signals the critical alignment of the units and / or the functioning outside or near the maximum operating distance. In optimal conditions the LED remains on continuously. The two units are synchronised via cable (SYNC wire).Precarious connections or induced disturbances on the synchronism line can cause device malfunctioning or a temporary blocking.DIAGNOSTICSRECEIVER UNIT:Segnal StatusCauseActionONSwitching output.Presence of the object in the controlled area.OUT LEDOFFSwitching output.Controlled area free of objects.ONOptimal functioning. Installation of vibration dampers must be carried out before positioning the unit. Vibration dampers are to be positioned between the unit feet and the mounting base with the supplied M10 screws.ModelTotal nr. of vibration dampers351, 352, 353,501, 502, 503631, 632, 6334504, 6346635, 63685.4 Expansion jointsAlfa Laval recommends the installation of expan-sion joints on both inlet and outlet connections. Expansion joints are elastic elements which, if properly installed, absorb the thermal expan-sions of the tubing. Expansion joints are alsohelpful in order to reduce vibrations in the piping.Picture shows an installation example using threaded bar, nut, grower washer, washer and locknut (not supplied). This way vibration dampers can be used tomake the cooler level adjusting the locknut. This is particularly useful with long units or irregular basement.5.5 Switch on/off (option SW)If switch on/off (SW) is selected, the default positioning is for horizontal airflow installation. The cover design is such that it can be used both for horizontal and vertical airflow installation. To adjust the switch positioning to the actual positioning on site: unscrew the cover fixing screws, turn it as shown and replace fixing screws.5.6 Switchboard fan speed control (option FP)If fan speed control (FP) is selected, the default positioning of the switchboard is for vertical air-flow installation. For application with horizontal airflow, unscrew switchboard cover and remount in position as indicated below. The cover plate should always be positioned horizontally to protect the electrical components.5.7 Installation layout guidelineEnsure installation is such that the following conditions are met:• Place the unit outdoor, so that it can be monitored and controlled from all sides at all times.• Ensure that sufficient space is available for maintenance.• Verify the structures supporting capacity regarding the weight of the unit(s), including refrigerant.• As a rule of thumb the (unrestricted) air-inlet surface area should at least equal the coil surface5.8 Electrical connectionsThe following data determine which connection diagram is to be selectedand respected for electrical installation:• Heat exchanger model indication• Fan motor type• Electrical optionsElectrical connection diagrams are available for download on. When in doubt always contact your local Alfa Lavalrepresentative for assistance.Electrical connections Contact Alfa Laval to determine optimal unit spacing for specific conditions on site.Special care should be taken in particular installations such as:• When installation site is subjected to strong winds.• When walls or other obstructions with different configuration than the ones shown in the previ-ous pictures are present on site.• When severe environmental loads are likely to affect to the unit.6 Operation6.1 Start-up procedureThe following procedure is to be respected at every system start-up.• Verify there are no leaks in the refrigerant circuit and connections.• Switch on fan power supply.• Start the fans and verify fan direction.• After some operating time, verify that current absorbtion does not exceed the value as given in the technical specifications.6.2 ShutdownIf the unit requires emptying for maintenance, system shutdown or dismounting, proceed as follows:• Stop refrigerant supply and switch off electrical power supply.• Make sure neither refrigerant nor power supply can be resumed accidentally or unexpectedly.• Drain all liquid refrigerant into a suitable vessel.• Evacuate the coil to remove any remaining refrigerant gas.7 MaintenanceEnsure complete electrical isolation before performing any maintenance activity and always fol -low guidelines and instructions as given in air cooled condensers & gas coolers product manual AHE00049. Disconnect fan cabling.Unscrew fixing bolts and remove old fan.Mount new fan assembly in identical position. Remount fasteners.
