知识点击：
1.It is hard for me to learn to play Chinese chess.学下中国象棋对我来说很难。

这是一个典型的“it+be+形容词+(for sb./of sb .)+不定式”句型，期中it 是形式主语，替代后面的不定式逻辑主语to learn to play Chinese chess.
For me 是“介词for+不定式”的逻辑主语，表明动词不定式动作的执行者是谁，注意for 后面用人称代词的宾格形式。

如：
The problem is too difficult for them to deal with.这个问题对于他们来说太难，恐怕处理不了。

2.I would rather watch sports shows than those ones.我宁愿看体育节目也不愿看那些节目。

Would rather do…than do…宁愿做…也不做…；比起做…更愿意做…如：
She would rather die than give in to the enemy.她宁死不屈。

I would rather stay at home than go out in such bad weather .这么糟糕的天气，我宁愿待在家里也不愿出去。

【注意】当than前后的动词一致时，为避免重复后者可省略。

如：
I would rather play basketball than soccer.比起踢足球，我更喜欢打篮球。

His father would rather live in the country.=His father prefers to live in the country.他父亲更愿意生活在农村。
