Ⅰ.Warming-up and revision.
1. One-minute talk. Topic: My Favorite …
2. After the talk, get the students to ask and answer questions about it.
Ⅱ.Presentation (1a).
(1) Play the PPT showing a picture of the week to teach the new words. T: There are seven days in a week. But which day is the first day of the week? Is it Monday?
Ss: No, it's Sunday.
T: Good! Let's say the days of the week quickly, clapping our hands.
Ss: The first day of the week is Sunday......
(2) Play the PPT showing some pictures to teach the new adjectives: free and cool.
T: Please look at the picture. (Show a picture of someone who is free We can say he is free. (Write the word “free”on the blackboard.)

Then show a very cool boy with nice clothes. Then, teach the word “cool”
in the same way.
Ask a student to check the answers.

Get the students to read the words.
T: David is talking about his classes on the schedule. Listen to the recording and check (√) the words you hear in 1a.
