介绍湖南张家界的旅游景点作文英语全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1Zhangjiajie: A Magical Land of Towering Pillars and Natural WondersHi there! My name is Lily and I'm a 10-year-old student from Changsha, the capital city of Hunan Province in China. Recently, my family and I went on an amazing adventure to Zhangjiajie, a place that looks like it came straight out of a fantasy movie! Let me tell you all about our incredible journey.Zhangjiajie is famous for its breathtaking scenery of towering quartzite sandstone pillars that look like they're reaching for the sky. These pillars are thousands of years old and were formed by erosion from wind, rain, and ice. As our tour guide explained, the pillars used to be at the bottom of an ancient sea, but over millions of years, the sea disappeared, leaving behind these incredible rock formations. Our first stop was the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, which is home to the iconic Avatar Hallelujah Mountain. When I first laid eyes on it, my jaw dropped! The mountain is made up ofthousands of tightly clustered pillars that look like giant twisting columns holding up the sky. It's so magical and otherworldly, like something from a dream. Our guide told us that the mountain was one of the inspirations for the movie Avatar! We took the Bailong Elevator, which is the tallest outdoor elevator in the world, to the top of the mountain. The elevator travels up the side of a massive quartzite cliff, giving you incredible views of the pillars below. At the top, we walked along the winding trails and got to see the pillars up close. It felt like we were in a secret kingdom hidden away from the rest of the world.Another highlight was the Golden Whip Stream, a beautiful river that winds its way through the park. We took a boat ride along the river and saw the pillars towering over us on both sides. The water was so clear and refreshing, and the scenery was simply breathtaking. Our guide pointed out some of the uniquely shaped pillars and told us the legends behind their names, like the "Camel Eating Grass" and the "Monkey Watching the Sea."One of the coolest things we did was the Glass Bridge Walk. This is a transparent glass bridge that's suspended high above the canyon, giving you a dizzying view of the pillars and valleys below. I'll admit, I was a little scared at first, but it was such athrilling experience! It felt like we were walking on air, surrounded by the incredible natural beauty of Zhangjiajie. We also visited the Huangshi Village, which is an ancient village that's been preserved within the national park. The villagers there still live a traditional lifestyle, wearing traditional clothing and doing traditional crafts. We got to see how they make things like bamboo baskets and paper umbrellas. It was like stepping back in time and getting a glimpse into the way people used to live in harmony with nature.Throughout our journey, we saw so many amazing plants and animals that call Zhangjiajie home. Our guide pointed out things like the Chinese giant salamander, which is a rare and endangered species, and the Zhangjiajie cypresses, which are ancient trees that can live for thousands of years. It was incredible to see such a diverse and vibrant ecosystem thriving amongst the towering pillars. One of my favorite parts of the trip was staying in the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge Resort. This hotel is built right into the side of the canyon, with rooms that havefloor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the stunning landscape. Imagine waking up every morning to a view of those incredible pillars! It was like living in a dream.Overall, our trip to Zhangjiajie was truly unforgettable. It's a place that looks like it belongs in a fairy tale, with its towering pillars, winding rivers, and lush forests. I feel so lucky to have been able to experience such a magical and unique place. If you ever get the chance to visit Zhangjiajie, I highly recommend it! It's an adventure you'll never forget.篇2Zhangjiajie: A Wonderland of NatureHi there! My name is Lily and I'm 10 years old. During my spring break this year, my family and I went on an amazing trip to Zhangjiajie in Hunan Province, China. It's a place famous for its stunning natural scenery with towering pillars of sandstone rocking into the sky. Let me tell you all about the incredible sights I saw there! Our first stop was the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, which is home to the iconic scenery that Zhangjiajie is known for. As we entered the park, I was immediately in awe of the giant quartzite pillars jutting up vertically from the ground. They looked like massive skyscrapers made of golden stone! Our guide told us they were formed by centuries of erosion by wind, rain and ice. How incredible is that?We took a cable car up to the top of one of the pillars called Yuanjiajie and walked along the Jianjizhai Plank Road. From up there, the views were just breathtaking. Countless pillars of all shapes and sizes surrounded us, some thin and twisting like ribbons, others thick and sturdy. Wispy clouds rolled through the valleys between the pillars, giving the whole place a mystical feel.I felt like I was in a magical land from a storybook!Next up was the Huangshi Village, an ancient village nestled right amongst the pillars. The little houses made of wood and stone blended seamlessly into the landscape. We wandered through the winding alleyways and I loved peeking into the quaint courtyards and gardens. It was like stepping back in time! One of my favorite parts was visiting the Jinbian Stream. We hiked along boardwalks winding through lush valleys and stood beneath towering arches of stone carved by the flow of the stream over thousands of years. The water was the most brilliant, crystal clear blue I've ever seen. Our guide told us about the ancient legend of the pretty color coming from a mythical beast! How fun is that? The next day, we went to the Tianmen Mountain Nature Reserve and took the famous Tianmen Mountain Cableway. It's the longest cableway in the world! The cable cars glided up theside of the mountain, giving us a bird's eye view of rivers, forests and sandstone pillars. When we reached the top, we stepped out onto the Tianmen Cave's Glass Walkway, suspended 4,700 feet above the ground! Despite being completely safe, it still made my heart pound with excitement walking on that transparent platform high above the valley below. So cool!Another day, we visited Yellow Dragon Cave, one of the largest cave systems in China. Inside was an underground palace of stalactites, stalagmites, stone pillars and silky curtains in every shade of yellow, orange and red. Our guide told us the incredible formations were created over millions of years by mineral-rich waters dripping from the ceiling. Walking through that fairytale-like wonderland was like being shrunken down and exploring the vibrant, living bloodstream of the Earth itself! One of the last stops on our trip was Baofeng Lake, a stunning emerald green lake surrounded by more of those iconic sandstone pillars. We took a boat tour around the misty waters and I could have spent hours just staring at the reflection of the pillars and blue skies rippling on the glassy surface. Serene doesn't even begin to describe it.In between all those amazing natural wonders, we also go to experience the yummy local cuisine. From fresh farmers' dishesusing ingredients I'd never heard of, to piping hot bowls of rice noodles in rich broths, every bite was a new flavor adventure. My favorite might have been the crispy-bottomed xianmiao, which was like a sandstone-salt crusted pastry filled with sweet fermented rice. Mmmm, my mouth is watering just thinking about it!By the end of our trip, I had so many unforgettable memories. Zhangjiajie showed me that our planet is an artistic genius, sculpting miracles of nature more magnificent than anything man could build. Those sandstone pillars have been standing tall for millions of years, and hopefully they'll be around for millions more for children to discover their magic. I feel so grateful I got to experience this wonderland first-hand at such a young age. Wherever life takes me, the mystical beauty of Zhangjiajie will forever be etched into my mind and heart.篇3A Magical Place Called ZhangjiajieHave you ever seen pictures of tall, thin pillars of rock reaching high into the sky, looking almost like gigantic stone skyscrapers? It's a very famous place with lots of incredible natural scenery. I was so excited to visit!Zhangjiajie is known for its towering quartzite sandstone pillars that jut out of the ground like giant skyscrapers. These pillars look almost alien, like nothing else on Earth! They were formed over millions of years by erosion from wind, rain, ice and plants. The pillars can reach crazy heights of over 200 meters (650 feet)! Some even have trees and bushes growing right on top. It looks like something straight out of a fantasy movie. The first place we visited was Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. This huge park has some of the most iconic pillar formations. We took a shuttle bus through misty valleys with pillars rising majestically all around us. It felt like we were in the world of Avatar! One of the most famous sights is the Awlayan Pillar, which is 350 meters (1148 feet) tall. From certain angles, it looks like a giant pencil poking out of the ground.Another highlight was the Golden Whip Stream. This is a gorgeously clear stream that winds through canyons with bright yellow, orange and red rock faces. The colors come from mineral deposits in the rock. Following the stream, we hiked up and down bridges and boardwalks to see different views. At one point, we walked behind a tall curtain waterfall showering down – it was so cool to walk right behind it!To save our legs, we also took an amazing cable car ride that carried us up through the quartzite pillars to the top of the mountains. From up there, the view was just breathtaking! Pillars stretched out in every direction, some shrouded in mist, others glowing in the sunlight. It looked like a scene from a magical fairytale land. While in the park, we also explored places with fun names like the Camel Rock, which really does look like a huge camel! And we visited the Lover's Bridge, a naturally formed bridge connecting two pillars. According to legend, if you walk across while holding hands with your sweetheart, you'll have eternal love and happiness. After exploring the national park, we went to Zhangjiajie's other top attraction - the Tianmen Mountain National Park. This park has the Tianmen Cave, an enormous natural hole in the center of the mountain that's 131 meters (430 feet) tall! We took a dizzying outdoor escalator right up the cliff face to enter the cave. Inside is a huge, pillared cavern that is absolutely massive. Tianmen Mountain is also home to the world's longest pedestrian glass bridge which is suspended 300 meters (980 feet) above the ground! My parents loved walking across it but I have to admit, my legs felt like jelly looking straight down.No trip to Zhangjiajie would be complete without sampling the tasty local snacks. I loved the crispy fried green beans, fresh farmers' cheese, and warm sweet potato fries. And every night, we feasted on delicious Tujia cuisine like spicy noodles, sticky rice dumplings, and sizzling meats and veggies cooked in a traditional stone pot.Zhangjiajie was honestly the coolest place I've ever visited. The scenery looks like it came straight from a dreamworld. The karst pillar forests, canyons, caves, and mountains were all so unbelievably beautiful. I felt like a tiny explorer discovering an alien planet! If you ever get a chance to go, you absolutely have to see it for yourself. The pictures don't even do it justice. I'm already begging my parents to take me back again next year!篇5Zhangjiajie: A Magical Wonderland of NatureHave you ever dreamed of visiting a place that looks like it came straight out of a fantasy movie? Well, that's exactly what Zhangjiajie in Hunan Province, China, feels like! It's a breathtaking wonderland of towering sandstone pillars, misty forests, and winding rivers that will make you feel like you've stepped into another world. My family and I had the chance to visit Zhangjiajie last summer, and let me tell you, it was an adventure I'll never forget! From the moment we arrived, I was amazed by the incredible scenery all around us. Everywhere I looked, there were these massive rock formations reaching up towards the sky, their surfaces covered in lush green vegetation. One of the first places we visited was the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, which is famous for its legendary sandstone pillars. As we walked along the winding trails, it felt like we were exploring an ancient, mystical realm. The pillars towered above us, some of them over 200 meters tall! It was like something out of a fairy tale, and I half expected to see mythical creatures peeking out from behind the rocks. But the real highlight of the park was the Bailong Elevator, also known as the "Hundred Dragons Elevator." This incredible feat of engineering is a glass elevator built into the side of a giant quartzite rock face. As we stepped inside and began our ascent, my heart was racing with excitement! The elevator took us up over 330 meters, giving us a bird's eye view of the stunning scenery below. It was both thrilling and a little bit scary, but mostly just amazing. After exploring the Forest Park, we headed to the Tianmen Mountain Nature Reserve, which is home to another iconic Zhangjiajie landmark: the Tianmen Cave. This massive natural cave is an incredible sight to behold, with a huge hole in the ceiling that lets in a beam of sunlight. We had to take a long and winding road up the mountain to reach it, but the journey was absolutely worth it.Once we made it to the top, we got to walk across the Tianmen Mountain Skywalk, a glass-bottomed walkway that juts out from the side of the mountain. It was a little nerve-wracking at first, but the views of the valleys and peaks stretching out below us were simply breathtaking. I felt like I was walking on air!But Zhangjiajie isn't just about the mountains and rock formations – it's also home to some incredible natural wonders. One of my favorite places we visited was the Yellow Dragon Cave, a massive underground cave system filled with incredible rock formations, stalactites, and stalagmites. As we wandered through the dimly lit caverns, it felt like we were exploring the secret depths of the earth itself. We also got to take a boat ride down the Lixian River, which winds its way through the heart of Zhangjiajie. The scenery along the river was simply stunning, with towering pillars and lushgreenery lining the banks. It was so peaceful and serene, and I'll never forget the feeling of gliding along the water, surrounded by nature's incredible beauty.篇6The Wondrous Zhangjiajie: A Playground of NatureHave you ever heard of Zhangjiajie? It's a magical place in Hunan Province, China, where nature has created some of the most amazing sights you can imagine! Zhangjiajie is home to towering pillars of rock, misty forests, and breathtaking scenery that will make your jaw drop.Let me take you on a journey through this incredible place!First, let's talk about the Wulingyuan Scenic Area, which is part of Zhangjiajie. This area is so special that it has been named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Can you guess why? It's because of the incredible quartzite sandstone pillars that seem to reach up to the sky! These pillars, also called "quartzite peaks," were formed over millions of years by wind, rain, and ice. They stand tall and proud, like giant sentinels guarding the forests below. Some of them even look like animals or mythical creatures! One famous peak iscalled the "Southern Sky Column," which is over 1,000 meters (3,280 feet) tall – taller than many skyscrapers! As you wander through the Wulingyuan Scenic Area, you'll also come across ancient trees, crystal-clear streams, and even waterfalls. It's like walking through a fairytale land! One of the most beautiful spots is the Baofeng Lake, where the water is so calm and clear that it perfectly reflects the surrounding peaks. But that's not all! Zhangjiajie is also home to the incredible Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, which is even larger than the Wulingyuan Scenic Area. Here, you can explore more quartzite peaks, as well as dense forests filled with all kinds of plants and animals. One of the most famous sights in the park is the Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve. This place is so breathtaking that it was even used as inspiration for the movie "Avatar"! Can you imagine floating mountains covered in lush green vegetation? That's exactly what you'll find here.As you walk along the trails, you might spot some of the park's furry residents, like the famous Zhangjiajie macaques. These cute monkeys live in the forests and are known for their playful antics. Just be sure not to feed them or get too close! If you're feeling adventurous, you can even try hiking up some of the towering peaks. But be warned – it's not an easy feat! Many of the trails involve climbing up steep staircases carved into the rock. But the views from the top are absolutely breathtaking, and you'll feel like you're on top of the world. No matter where you go in Zhangjiajie, you'll be surrounded by stunning beauty. From the towering quartzite peaks to the misty forests and crystal-clear lakes, this place is truly a playground of nature. It's no wonder that it has become a popular destination for visitors from all over the world! So, what are you waiting for? Pack your bags and get ready to explore the wondrous Zhangjiajie! Enjoying favorable climate, Mountain Tianzi presents you fantastic natural beauty, overlooking mountains and valleys in the distance.
