The SKM 1030 is a hand-held transmitter for mobile tour-guide systems. Besides its “classic” area of application – guided tours in museums or factories – it can also be used as a transmitter in a mini interpretation system or as a microphone in a talkback system. With the SZU 1032 lavalier clip the radiomicrophone can be worn around the neck. Features
•Super-cardioid condenser microphone head, effectively rejects side-borne noise •Lockable microphone on/off (mute) switch • 6 switchable frequencies in the 8 m band •Can be used with rechargeable BA 1032 accupack •100 mW RF output power for reliable transmission •Delivery includes:1 hand-held transmitter with
antenna
The visitors are given stethoset headphones with integrated RF receiver. There is no cable – the receivers can be quickly distributed and collected again. The lightweight stethoset receiver is comfortable to wear, even for long periods of time.Features
•Stethoset receiver, without troublesome cables •Max. SPL 112dB, for clear intelligibility even in noisy environments •Weight only 55g
•Accupack with an operating time of approx. 8 h •Transport and charging case available
•Delivery includes:1 stethoset receiver, 1 BA 90accupack, 1 set of colour-coded identification markers

Stethoset receivers make guided tours much easier. The RF receiver is integrated into the lower part of the stethoset headphone – but it still weighs only 55g and is very
comfortable to wear.
With its two operating controls the receiver is extremely easy to use: it features a rotary switch for selecting the frequency and an on/off/volume control. All operating controls are located on the (protected) bottom of the receiver.
The maximum sound pressure level of 112dB leaves enough headroom even for rooms with high ambient noise levels. The construction of the headphone systems clearly attenuates ambient noise , achieving values of up to approx. 15dB.
Unlike bodypack receivers with separate headphone, stethoset receivers have no troublesome cables. When collecting or handing them out there is no spaghetti of
cables to disentangle.
The receiver’s ear-cushions can easily be removed and cleaned. Nevertheless they are on tightly so that they do not slip off by accident.
Receiver versions with two or three receiving frequencies are specially suited for very popular visitor attractions. With them, several tours can be made simultaneously using different frequencies. If a tour is to be made in several languages at the same time you can use different frequencies for the individual languages.
If you are using single-channel receivers with different frequencies, the KEN 1030 identification markers help to differentiate between the receiving frequencies.
The stethoset receiver BA 90 rechargeable accupack with operating time of approx. 810 or up to 20 accupacks. However, receiver via the L 1030-10 charging unit.
The most practical solution for the transmitter.
A fully equipped EZL 1030-20 L case can also be used as a mini interpretation system . Interpreters can listen to a speaker via the loudspeaker system and then whisper a translation into the hand-held transmitter. Participants from abroad receive the translation via the stethoset receivers.
This type of simultaneous translation may not offer the comfort of a professional interpretation system with cabins and desks, but it is extremely portable: one person can take it anywhere, even by plane or train.
You can also use the tour-guide equipment as an economical portable talkback system, e.g. for lighting technicians.。
