在凯撒的统治下,罗马征服了高卢和埃及。
凯撒被刺身亡后,养子屋大维(Octavius)击败了对手马克·安东尼和埃及女王克娄巴特拉,于公元前27年建立了古罗马帝国,并被尊为奥古斯都·凯撒(AugustusKaesar)。
