A.do your work at the energy peak
B.manage to control your temper
C.work at the bottom of energy cycle
D.manage to keep you clean all day
You can't change your energy cycle, but you can learn to make your life fititbetter. Habit can help, Dr. Kleitman believes. Maybe you're sleepy in the evening but feel you must stay up late anyway. If so, staying up later than you want to may counteract your cycle in some way. If our energy is low in the morning but you have an important job to do early in the day, rise before your usual hour. This won't change your cycle, but you'll get up steam and work better at your low point.

阅读理解A[2019·福州市质量检测]Steve Brosnihan is the “resident cartoonist” at the Children's Hospital, who wanders from room to room drawing and chatting and doing whatever else he can think of to cheer up the sick children. During one visit, he was saying good night to a teenage patient when he had a bright idea.Steve told the teenager to look out of the window after he left. Outside, Steve flickered (闪烁) his bike light up toward the hospital. To his surprise, the teen responded, flickering his own room lights right back.Every night after that, Steve flickered his light, and more and more kids flickered back. When he mentioned it to a friend working at a restaurant, the owner said he wanted in too. He started to flicker the restaurant sign for one minute every night at 8:30. Soon enough, the customers started joining in with flashlights and cell phones. Almost by accident, a simple action was changing into a powerful connection between local people and sick children. Now more than 20 groups are on board for the 8:30 p.m. flicker. Every Wednesday night, police officers line up their cars and flash them. Even boats on the river join in to give their bright goodnight wave to kids who are going through frightening situations and sleeping in a strange place.“It is all I look forward to basically all day,” says Abigail Waldron, aged ten. “It just shows you that somebody is helping you through your whole experience in the hospital.”“It would be very hard not to do this,” says Steve,“once you start.” The most powerful of all, he adds, comes from the families of children who have died. They continue to return to the hospital to flicker a light outside in support of children who are still patients.

阅读理解A[2019·重庆调研]You have just won five million yuan in a lottery (彩票) — how would you spend it? Before you know it, ten minutes has gone on daydreaming. There is a time and a place for daydreaming, but we don't have much control over that. Isn't it worrying that an estimated 30 to 50 percent of our waking time is spent daydreaming? What if your dentist is having that lottery daydream while removing your rotten tooth? Some studies suggest daydreaming makes us unhappy because we are not focusing on what is around us but are instead thinking about the past or future. However, a recent study published in the journal Neuropsychologica finds that mindwandering can be of benefit to us. The researchers measured the brain patterns of more than 100 people using an MRI (核磁共振成像) scanner. This data was compared with tests on creative ability and a questionnaire on how much their minds usually wandered. Those whose minds wandered the most scored higher in creative ability tests and had more efficient brain systems measured in the MRI machine.Being efficient at mindwandering means you can zone_out and then naturally tune back in without missing any important point or step. Christine Godwin, the lead author of the latest study from the Georgia Institute of Technology, says that if you are focusing on difficult tasks, your performance will drop if your mind wanders. But when tasks are easy, people who have high cognitive ability can let their minds wander because it does not affect their performance. You may be thinking about upcoming goals or problemsolving. These are some of the positive sides to mindwandering.Mindwandering can vary between being more practical or more emotional. What mindwandering seems to be best at, researchers say, is coming up with new solutions to old problems. So, it's not always a waste of time!

阅读理解A[2019·惠州市高三第一次调研考试]Travel can be fun, but when you have to move with a disability, getting from point A to point B can become frustrating. Airlines know this and do their part to make air travel as comfortable as they can for every passenger. Here are some tips and information on what major airlines do for travelers who need extra support when flying.UnitedWhen flying with United, call the airline's disability desk (1 - 800 - 228 - 2744) 48 hours in advance of travel if you'll be traveling with an assistive device so they can ensure your device can be used in flight. Any special needs you have should be mentioned when you make your reservation so the airline staff can do their best to help you. This includes the need for assistance in getting to your gate, boarding, getting to your seat, deplaning or connecting.DeltaDepending on the type and age of the aircraft, accessible features of Delta's aircraft include movable armrests of seats, wheelchair space, onboard wheelchairs and, on larger airplanes, wheelchairaccessible washrooms. Depending on the aircraft, they also provide seats with a movable aisle armrest for passengers needing to transfer from a boarding wheelchair to their own seat more easily.US AirwaysWhen traveling with US Airways, if you have a mobility disability and need special seating, call 800 - 428 - 4322 at least 24 hours before your scheduled departure to ensure your needs are met. Besides seats with movable armrests, the airline also provides seats with more legroom for passengers with an immobilized leg. The airline can also provide an onboard wheelchair but let them know 48 hours in advance if you need one.SouthwestIf you're flying with Southwest and you need a wheelchair at the airport, or need other special assistance, it's best to inform the airline in advance, or as soon as you arrive at the airport so your requests can be fulfilled as quickly as possible. On each aircraft, a small wheelchair that can fit down the aircraft aisle is available at every gate and can be used if you need help for getting into your seat.

But a few years ago the local government in Aragon decided to buy the place and restore it, claiming it was a major part of Spanish history.
buy the place与restore it是并列的不定式短语,作decided的宾语;claiming it was a major part of Spanish history是现在分词作伴随状语,claiming后是一个宾语从句。
