六、教学过程
Step 1: Pre-reading activities
1 Greeting and check the preview
(1). Listen to a song “Happy New Year!”
(2). Free talk
T: What’s your name? Nice to meet you.
T: What colour is your coat? (It’s nice/pretty/warm/…)
T: It’s warm, because it’s cold now. Which season is it now?
T: It’s cold but spring is coming soon. And New Year’s Day is coming too.
【设计意图：看着PPT上过年的彩色灯笼和烟花，听着欢快的过年歌曲，提前渲染好过年的气氛，让学生在朗朗上口的美妙旋律中，带着愉快的心情开始学习。

2. T: When is New Year’s Day?

【设计意图：首先了解元旦的具体时间，接着让孩子在轻松愉悦的氛围中一边聆听欢快的祝贺新年的英文歌曲，一边欣赏欣赏世界各地庆祝元旦的照片，提高他们的学习兴趣和热情。

【设计意图：由教师的儿子John去年得到5个元旦礼物引出这个单元的生词，教授生词时采用不同的方式出示生词，吸引学生的注意力，提高教学效率。

4.Play a game: Bomb.
【设计意图：在新授单词的同时讲解本课的重点句型，做到词句结合；同时强调this 和that的区别，这是本课的一个难点。

在学完生词和句型后玩Bomb这个游戏，将知识在游戏中巩固，学生乐于接受，教学效果见效快。
