一、创设情境，切入主题
Step 1：Lead－in
Lead－in by discussing the following questions：
1.Who is Li Ming’s friend？
2.What class is Li Lin in？
3.Who is Jenny’s homeroom teacher？
Show some pictures of students and teachers to the class.Let the students discuss the questions in groups.Then present their results in front of the class.The styles can be dialogues or reports.
二、展开过程，探究新知
Step 2：Listening
Listen to the tape and fill in the blanks with the words you hear：
1.Li Lin is in Class________.
2.Mr.Jones is Jenny’s homeroom________.
3.Kate is Jenny’s________.
Finish the task in class orally.
Step 3：Reading
Read the lesson and answer the following questions：
1.Who is Wang Mei？
2.What class is Yang Hao in？
3.Who is the man over there？
Finish the task in class orally.
Step 4：Practice
Make sentences with the language points：

S1：Danny，this is my friend Li Ming.

Step 5：Activities
Introduce friends or teachers.Work in groups.At the same time，the teacher can walk around the classroom to see if the students have any questions.
Discuss for a while.Then let some students come to the front to show their introductions.
Step 6：Come to“Let’s Do It！”
Read the lesson again，and ask the students to do Exercises 1—2 in groups in class.
