Enteran IP Address, IP Mask (alsoknown as Subnet Mask), andGateway. You must specify an IPaddress. If you are unsure aboutthe IP Mask and Gateway, leavethe default settings. Click Nextand proceed to step I.I The Security Settings screen willappear. Choose from WEP orWPA PSK. If your network has WEPencryption enabled, then selectthe level of WEP encryption,and enter a Passphrase. TheWEP key will be automaticallygenerated. If you want tomanually enter the WEP key,leave the Passphrase field blankand enter the WEP key in the Key1 field. If your network has WEPencryption disabled, keep thedefault, Disabled. Then clickNext.If your network has WPA PSKenabled, then select WPA PSKfrom the drop-down menu.Select TKIP for the algorithm,then enter a Pre-Shared Key of8-32 characters. Click Next.J Review your settings on theConfirmation screen. Writedown the Bridge’s IP Address ifyou want to access the Bridge’sWeb-based Utility. Click Yes tosave these settings.K On the Congratulations screen,click Exit.I1F The Mode Settings screen willappear. Select Infrastructure ifyou want your wirelesscomputers to communicatewith computers on your wirednetwork using a wireless accesspoint. Select Ad-Hoc if youwant wireless computers tocommunicate directly witheach other.In the WB Name field, enter aunique name for the Bridge.Click Next.G On the Wireless Settingsscreen, enter your wirelessnetwork’s SSID. If you chose Ad-Hoc mode, select the channelthat your network uses.If you have Wireless-G(802.11g) and Wireless-B(802.11b) devices in yournetwork, then keep the defaultNetwork Mode setting, Mixed.If you have only Wireless-Gdevices, select G-Only. Thenclick Next.H The IP Settings screen willappear. If your network has aDHCP server, selectAutomatically obtain an IPaddress (DHCP). Click Nextand proceed to step I.If your network does not have aDHCP server, select Set IPA After configuration, unplug thepower adapter from theelectrical outlet, and unplugthe Ethernet network cablefrom the PC.B Plug the Ethernet networkcable into the RJ-45 port onthe Ethernet-ready networkdevice you wish to add to thewireless network.C Plug the power adapter into alocal electrical outlet.Congratulations!
