高中英语新高考-作文指导与解读：漫画作文的快写技法

作文题：

请根据你对这两幅漫画的理解，以“Prevention Is Better Than Treatment”为题，用英语写一篇短文。

你的短文应包含以下内容：

1. 简要描述图片的内容；

2. 概述你对图片的理解；

3. 说明你对此事的观点。

参考词汇：网络谣言online rumors

图片公式：

解释：

漫画作文首先要找到图画作文涉及到多少角色，一般不要超过两个。

考虑每个角色做了什么事情，以什么方式或原因或产生什么影响；

各角色之间可存在什么逻辑关系（因果；条件。。。）

其实，主干部分是写事实，枝干部分是谈看法，这样就形成：事实和观点的模式，很符合英语写作的思维。

至于具体的句式，读者应该先参考一下真题范文（具体在最后）：

第一段：In Picture 1, sb is doing..., but ..., while Picture 2 shows sb doing...

第二段:：The message conveyed here is clear:“Actions speak louder than words”.

我的下水文：

第一段：

In picture 1, all kinds of information, including online rumors, is being poured out of the Internet, which leaves users confused（影响）. By contrast, in picture 2, luckily, the tongue, indicating the source of rumours, ends up being cut off by a pair of scissors.

比较范文第一段：

As is vividly shown in Picture 1, the computer is releasing all kinds of information, of which false information and online rumors are a part, making it hard for people to distinguish between the true and false information. While in Picture 2, a pair of scissors is firmly cutting the long tongue of the online rumors.

范文第一句相当复杂，比较难写出出来，因为非限制性定语从句和分词的混合需要语法功底深厚。

第二段：

谈理解基本上都是谈影响，一般不是好，就是坏：

提纲：

1、Mislead people to make wrong choices, go astray, stand in the way of cultivating personality

2、Disturb peace, threaten the harmonious society

3、Provide fertile soil for hatred

组文：

Undoubtedly, online rumors pose a great threat to our society in the following ways. （先写主题句）First, it tends to mislead people to make wrong choices and even go astray unless controlled in time. This is because lack of guidance breeds rumour and it in turn stands in the way of cultivating personality. Second, it disturbs peace by providing fertile soil for hatred and brings about strong disbelief in one.

比较范文第二段：

The message the pictures convey is clear —Online rumors are so powerful that they have caused negative influences to the social order and people’s daily lives. When false information gets released, it will cause great harm and loss as well. And the serious consequences will have been made even if we finally succeed in fighting against the online rumors.

可以看出来，范文基本模仿高考范文的手法。

第三段：

观点就是解决方法

我的写法：

The government should make laws to regulate the release of online information and strengthen supervision before rumour is released. Individuals and corporations should obey rules and regulations and nip rumour in the bud, if any, which would otherwise even snowball into wars. Just keep in mind that prevention is better than treatment.

比较范文：

As far as I’m concerned, rather than try hard to remove the online rumors, we should ban the false information before it comes out. Preventing the online rumors from spreading should be a top priority. After all, prevention is better than treatment.
