The immunogold colloidal gold assay is based on the synthesis of gold nanoparticles from chloroauric acid (HAuCl4) in the presence of reducing agents such as white phosphorus, ascorbic acid, sodium citrate (柠檬酸钠), and tannic acid.These gold nanoparticles are formed with a certain size and stabilized in a colloidal state due to electrostatic interactions, resulting in a negatively charged hydrophobic colloidal solution.The colloidal gold is considered an ideal immunological marker for immunoelectron microscopy.
To perform the immunogold colloidal gold assay, the following experimental procedure is typically followed:
1.Prepare the gold nanoparticles by reducing chloroauric acid with a suitable reducing agent.
