教材分析
1．本课放在九年级英语下的最后一个话题，是学生即将面临毕业走向不同人生道路之前对自身很好的一个思考。

它可以引发学生对友谊的珍惜之情，同时也为他们的未来做好思想准备。

2．本课在知识体系的设计上多是日常英语与学生实际有关，同时也是利于自学的，这激励为学生在将来的生活中保持多英语学习的兴趣和信心。

学情分析
学情分析：九（8）班学生总体基础参差不齐，两级分化较严重，部分学生根本没有学习目标，基本放弃升学的愿望，但学生的纪律性总体不错，学习较踏实；九（8）班学生总体学习情况较好，大部分的学生有明确的学习目标，有一定的自觉性，该班英语成绩总体好些，但课堂气氛不够活跃。

另外，很多学生没有真正认识到学习英语的目的；有些同学在学习中缺乏小组合作意识。

因此，在课堂中要
多激发学生对英语学习的自觉性和合作性。

教学目标
1. 学习并掌握以下重点词汇：first of all, a piece of, handwriting, chalk, dozen, dozens of, pound, penny及习语it’s a piece of cake.where there is a will, there is a way.it’s the thought that counts.
2 2. 帮助学生树立毕业后走向社会的信心，引发学生对未来自身发展的思考。

3 3. 复习关于购物的英语句型：
(1) do you have any other colors/sizes/materials/kinds?
(2) what size …?
(3) —how much is/are …?
—it is/they are … yuan/pounds/dollars/pennies.

学情分析：九年级（3）（4）班学生总体基础参差不齐，两级分化较严重，部分学生根本没有学习目标，基本放弃升学的愿望，但学生的纪律性总体不错，学习较踏实；九年级3班学生总体学习情况较好，大部分的学生有明确的学习目标，有一定的自觉性，该班英语成绩总体好些，但课堂气氛不够活跃。

另外，学生在情感态度学习策略方面还存在诸多需要进一步解决的问题。

例如：很多学生不能明确学习英语的目的，只为升学而学习，没有真正认识到学习英语的目的在于交流；有些同学在学习中缺乏小组合作意识；部分同学没有养成良好的学习习惯，不能做好课前预习课后复习，学习没有计划性和策略性；不善于发现和总结语言规律，不留意知识的巩固和积累。

教学过程：Step 1 Review 第一步复习(时间:15分钟)
1. (播放Auld Long Syne歌曲营造一种离别的气氛，创造真实的语言学习环境，唤起学生的思维。

T: Boys and girls, do you know the song? What’s the name?
