教材分析
1.本课放在九年级英语下的最后一个话题,是学生即将面临毕业走向不同人生道路之前对自身很好的一个思考。

它可以引发学生对友谊的珍惜之情,同时也为他们的未来做好思想准备。

2.本课在知识体系的设计上多是日常英语与学生实际有关,同时也是利于自学的,这激励为学生在将来的生活中保持多英语学习的兴趣和信心。

学情分析
学情分析:九(8)班学生总体基础参差不齐,两级分化较严重,部分学生根本没有学习目标,基本放弃升学的愿望,但学生的纪律性总体不错,学习较踏实;九(8)班学生总体学习情况较好,大部分的学生有明确的学习目标,有一定的自觉性,该班英语成绩总体好些,但课堂气氛不够活跃。

另外,很多学生没有真正认识到学习英语的目的;有些同学在学习中缺乏小组合作意识。

因此,在课堂中要
多激发学生对英语学习的自觉性和合作性。

教学目标
1. 学习并掌握以下重点词汇:first of all, a piece of, handwriting, chalk, dozen, dozens of, pound, penny及习语it’s a piece of cake.where there is a will, there is a way.it’s the thought that counts.
2 2. 帮助学生树立毕业后走向社会的信心,引发学生对未来自身发展的思考。

3 3. 复习关于购物的英语句型:
(1) do you have any other colors/sizes/materials/kinds?
(2) what size …?
(3) —how much is/are …?
—it is/they are … yuan/pounds/dollars/pennies.
教学重点和难点

教学难点:如何设置话题,引发学生对自身的思考从而打开学生的思路,创设用英语交流的情景和欲望。

教学目标:
1. Learn some new words and phrases:
first of all, a piece of, handwriting, chalk, dozen, dozens of, pound, penny
2. Learn some useful sentences:
(1) It’s a piece of cake.
(2) Where there is a will, there is a way.
(3) It’s the thought that counts.
3. Learn to talk about what we should do before leaving school and how to give a speech at the graduation ceremony.
4. Review the topic about shopping:
(1) Do you have any other colors/sizes/materials/kinds?
(2) What size …?
(3) —How much is/are …?
—It is/They are … yuan/pounds/dollars/pennies.
学情分析:九年级(3)(4)班学生总体基础参差不齐,两级分化较严重,部分学生根本没有学习目标,基本放弃升学的愿望,但学生的纪律性总体不错,学习较踏实;九年级3班学生总体学习情况较好,大部分的学生有明确的学习目标,有一定的自觉性,该班英语成绩总体好些,但课堂气氛不够活跃。

另外,学生在情感态度学习策略方面还存在诸多需要进一步解决的问题。

例如:很多学生不能明确学习英语的目的,只为升学而学习,没有真正认识到学习英语的目的在于交流;有些同学在学习中缺乏小组合作意识;部分同学没有养成良好的学习习惯,不能做好课前预习课后复习,学习没有计划性和策略性;不善于发现和总结语言规律,不留意知识的巩固和积累。

教学过程:Step 1 Review 第一步复习(时间:15分钟)
1. (播放Auld Long Syne歌曲营造一种离别的气氛,创造真实的语言学习环境,唤起学生的思维。

)
T: Boys and girls, do you know the song? What’s the name?
Ss: Auld Lang Syne.
T: That’s right. We listened to it in Junior Eight. Could you tell me what it is about? Who will try? OK, S1.
S1: It is about the feeling when people say good-bye.Is it right?
T: You are completely right. We often hear the song at the end of some activities. How time flies! Soon, we’ll finish our school, that is to say, we’ll graduate from school soon.

2. T: If we hold a graduation ceremony (graduation ceremony means a meeting or a party for graduation, in Chinese means “毕业典礼”), and write best wishes in English. What will you write? Write it on a piece of paper soon.
