小组内学生自己进行课文操练。学生们小组内分角色朗读课文。
1)Guess：Who is mother’s mother? Who is father’s mother？从而引出新单词grandmother.（强调grandmother既有奶奶也有外婆的意思）
2)学习单词grandmother、出示带单词拼写的奶奶PPT图片，全班同学拿出小手指在空中拼写，同时教师把单词板书到四线格内，用各种丰富有趣的方式朗读单词，如：大声—小声读，一次—两次读，拍手跺脚读，齐读。
2)通过看图说单词说句子的形式巩固复习前面所学过的表示家庭成员的单词。如：看图说brother,my brother,This is my brother.
3）当复习到father和mother两词时老师板书示范father和mother，为学习grandfather和grandmother做准备。
3)Guess：Who is mother’s father？Who is father’s father？同样的方式引出单词grandfather，抽读、指名读、开火车读、空中拼单词读，男生女生PK赛读等等并让学生在练习本上抄写单词。
