本课通过展示主人公Grace朋友圈，分享多个小朋友在母亲节当天为妈妈做的事情。
首先分享第一个小朋友Paul想妈妈表达爱的视频（say and act的内容），教学本单元的重点句子；然后分享第二个小朋友Sally为妈妈做的相框，卡片，把学习的内容落实到写上面；最后通过分享主人公Grace 自身的朋友圈来自然地对本课时和整个单元进行连接和总结。
在教学的过程中，通过不同形式的活动，如结伴对话，在小组活动中玩新颖的抛骰子游戏等，让学生巩固旧的知识，帮助学生逐步学习和掌握新的知识，寓教于乐，充分激发了学生们学习的兴趣。
让
学生学写卡片、表演对妈妈做的事等，不断地重复学习内容，层层突破，注重培养学生们在听、说、读、写、演各方面能力的提高。
让孩子们在感受到母亲的伟大之余，还激起他们对母亲的感恩之心，自发去表达对妈妈的爱意。
学生在愉悦的氛围中合作、交流，每个孩子都有所收获。
不足：
1. 部分教学环节间衔接不够流畅。
2. 学生在表达和书写上还会犯一些小错误，需要及时纠正。
3. 在总结方面，没有做到让学生总结。
最后升华没有提及学生要感恩家人的同时，还要学会分享。
4.在时间把握方面，做得不好，其实在玩游戏，对话时，可以多叫几组同学表演操练。
