在Unit4里面,学生学习了一些动物,如:frog. Kangaroo. Turtle等等,以及它们的能力,而本课的重点之一是学习动物的特征,通过本课的学习,学生可以更深入地了解动物,整合语言知识点,所以教师调整教材的顺序。

在学本课之前,学生已有下面的语言知识基础:1、词汇(1) Animal: giraffe panda monkey elephant tiger lion kangaroo…(2) Adjective: big small heavy long short funny lovely dangerous beautiful strong cute…(3) Color: black white yellow grey brown blue…(4) Body: eye ear nose tail leg hand mouth teeth horn…(5 ) Activity: jump run climb swim fly walk swing…2句型(1)… be doing…(2)…can…(3)…is/are yellow…(4)…likes/like…(5)…has/have…(6)…from…(7)…be good at…及六句有关动物园规则的“Don‘t …”对于五年级学生来说,说单个句子并不难,但要连贯运用语言就表现得比较吃力了,所以老师要创造机会让学生综合运用这些句子,让学生主动构建语言知识。
