Unit 7 How much are these pants?知识点一：基数词表示数目或数量多少的词叫基数词。

（一）基数词的构成1. 1-12的基数词是独立的单词，有其各自的形式：one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve。

2. 13-19的基数词以-teen结尾，单词中的两个音节重读。

一般都是在相应的表示“几”的基数词后加-teen。

如：fourteen，sixteen, seventeen，nineteen等，但13 thirteen, 15 fifteen, 18 eighteen的拼写较特殊。

3. 20-90中表示整十位数的词，一般都是在相应的表示“几”的基数词后加-ty，单词的第一个音节重读。

如：sixty, seventy, ninety，但20 twenty, 30 thirty, 40 forty, 50 fifty, 80 eighty的拼写较特殊。

（二）基数词的写/读法1. 两位数的写法：在十位数与个位数之间加连字符“-”。

如：28 twenty-eight， 96 ninety-six。

两位数的读法：先读十位的“几十”，再读个位的“几”。

2. 三位数的读法，在百位和十位（若无十位，则和个位）之间用and连接（美式英语可不用and）。

如：148 one hundred（and）forty-eight，406 four hundred and six。

3. 千位数以上的基数词，从后向前数，每三位数加一个逗号。

第一个逗号前的数字后加thousand，第二个逗号前的数字后加million，第三个逗号前的数字后加billion。

如：24,500,379,168twenty-four billion, five hundred million, three hundred（and）seventy-nine thousand, one hundred（and）sixty- eight（三）基数词的用法1. 表示时刻：英语中的时刻是用基数词来表示的，如：6:30 six thirty，7:52 seven fifty-two2. 表示年龄岁数+year（s） old（可以省略）。

【例句】He is ten years old. =He is ten . 他十岁了。

3.表示顺序、编号一般置于名词后。

如：Unit 2第二单元；Page20 第20页如果数词前有No.，则“No.+基数词”置于名词前。

【例句】—Who’s that in Picture 1? 图1中的人是谁？—He is a student in No. 9 Middle School. 他是第九中学的一名学生。

注意：1）表示住所时不用“No.”。

如：Room 202（读作：room two o two）；202房间2）电话号码用基数词，可单个读，重复的数字可用double。

如：3866988 three eight six six （double six）nine eight eight（double eight）。

4. 用于计算【例句】—What’s one plus two? 一加二等于多少？—It’s three. 等于三。

例 Seventy-nine plus _____ is eighty.A. oneB. zeroC. twoD. ten5. 表示年份1980 可写作：nineteen eighty 2004 可写作：two thousand and four知识点二：衣服类名词socks袜子, shoes鞋, pants裤子,trousers裤子等都是成双成对的物品，1、一般以复数形式出现，作主语时谓语动词用复数形式。

2、但它们和a pair of （一双、一副或一对）连用作主语时，谓语动词要与pair在数上一致。

The pants are Tom’s. 这条裤子是汤姆的。

The pair of pants is Tom’s. 这条裤子是汤姆的。

知识点三：价格的表达：主语+be(is/are)+基数词+货币单位.1、英美等西方国家的货币单位像dollar（美元）、cent（美分）、pound（英镑）、penny（便士）、shilling（先令）等有单复数变化。

我国的货币单位元（yuan）、角（jiao）、分（fen）单复数一样。

△2、表示货币等度量衡单位的词在句中作主语时，谓语动词用单数形式。

100 dollars is quite a lot of money for him. 100美元对他来说是相当多的钱。

知识点四. 询问价格1） How much is + 单数商品？ How much are + 复数商品？It’s + 钱 They’re + 钱①这件红色的裙子多少钱？100元。

②这条蓝裤子多少钱？30美元.2）What’s the price of + 商品？It’s + 钱①这件红色的裙子多少钱？100元。

②这条蓝裤子多少钱？30美元.知识点五：. how many/how much询问数量how many + 可数名词，how much + 不可数名词1）你有多少苹果？How many apples do you have?2）你想要多少水？How much water do you want?.知识点六：购物的常用语1、Can I help you? 我能帮助你吗？此句是主动提供帮助时的服务用语。

它的翻译随着场所的不同而不同。

在饭店：你想吃点什么？在商店：你想买点什么？肯定回答：Yes,please. ．．．．．．．否定回答：No,thanks.(．．．．．．)与Can I help you?同义的常用表达还有：What can I do for you?/ May I help you?/Is there anything I can do for you?2、I need /want ．．．．我需要．．．．. want sth 想要某物 1)我想要个苹果。

I want an apple.want to do sth. 想要做某事 2)他想打篮球 He wants to play basketball.want sb. to do sth. 想要某人做某事 3）我想要他帮助我I want him to help me. 3、How much is/are ．．．．?4. I’ll take it/ them.我买了。

5、Here you are.给你。

6.表感谢的用语：Thank you / Thank you very much / Thanks / Thanks a lot / Many thanks. 回答感谢的用语：That’s all right / That’s OK. Not at all. You’re welcome. 知识点七：其他重点句子和短语e and buy your clothes at Huaxing’s great sale!快来买，华兴服装大减价。
