Unit 7 It‘s raining!Section A (1a-2c)一.教材分析:本单元语言训练的重点是(1)谈论天气;(2)描述正在发生的动作。

重点语言结构是(1)How 引导的特殊疑问句;(2)Yes/No的问句及答语;(3)现在实行时的用法。

Section A主要是听读说及基础语言的应用,为目标句型提供分步示例和指导性练习。

继Unit 6 I am watching TV 二次出现现在实行时态,是上一单元的延续。

比较上一单元,本单元增设了一个日常生活中重要的情景Talking about the weather.学生不但要具备并熟练掌握实行时态的意识和技巧,并且要会应用这个时态描绘各种天气背景下人的活动。

二.学情分析:本人所在的学校地处城乡交接地带,学生的英语学习氛围不怎么浓厚,学习热情也不太高,尤其是英语的听、说水平方面,很多学生不愿开口说英语,英语听力也比较薄弱。

针对这种情况,我把本节课的重点放在英语听说训练两方面,通过展开一些生动有趣的活动,增强英语听说训练,让学生熟悉掌握现在实行时态,并弄清楚它与一般现在时态的区别三.教学目标:1.语言知识目标:(1)单词:rain, windy, cloudy, sunny, snow, weather, cook, bad(2)句型:—How's the weather in Beijing?—It's sunny—What are you doing?—I'm playing basketball(3)能用所学的知识描述天气情况。

(4)描述正在发生的动作。

2.情感态度价值观目标:教育学生善于观察天气,善于调整自己的情绪;了解世界各地的天气情况,增加世界观点。

知道大自然的力量是神奇而伟大的,我们理应好好学习,立志学好科学知识,为长大后探索神奇的大自然,打好基础。

四.教学重点和难点:1. 教学重点:1) The vocabulary and useful expressions.2) —How’s the weather?—It's raining/ windy.3) —What are you doing?—I'm playing basketball.2. 教学难点:使用目标语言来对天气实行问答,并且会问答其他人正在实行的活动。

五.教学过程:Ⅰ. Warming-up and Lead in1. Greet the Ss and check the homework.2. Listen an English song about the weather :How is the weather.Ⅱ. Presentation1. (Show some pictures of the weather)Let Ss look at the pictures and ask them how the weather is.Ss learn the new words and expressions with the help of the pictures.2. Look at the pictures in 1a. Then read the new words on the right. Ask t he Ss to match the words with pictures.3. Check the answers.Ⅲ. Game (How's the weather?)1.(Showing some pictures on the big screen.)Ask Ss"How's the weather?"2. Ss guess and answer the question.Ⅳ. Listening1. Now let's look at the city names in the box in 1b. Please read after me. Ss read the cities after the teacher.2.Now,Wewill hear four conversations. Listen carefully, point out each cit y in the picture as it comes upon the tape. Play the recording a second time. Ask Ss to write the name of the city in the picture of its weather.3. Check the answers.Ⅴ. Pair work1. Tell the Ss: If you are in one of the places in the picture above. Talk a bout the weather with your friends in another city on the phone.2. Make a model with a student like this:T: Hi! How's the weather in Beijing? S1: It's sunny.3. Ss work in pairs. Ask and answer about the weather in the cities.Ⅵ. Listening1. Work on 2a.Let's see what Joe's families are doing. Point to the 4 pictures.2. Ask Ss tell each person is doing in each picture. More attentions should be paid to the correct use of the Present Progressive Tense.3. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and number the pictures [1-4].4. Play the tape for Ss to check the answers.5. With the whole picture, get some Ss to tell the story of it.6. BrainstormingPlay the tape for another time. Then do a memory test. Ask Ss: What' s Uncle Joe/Jeff/Mary/Aunt Sarah doing? What're Scott and Lucy doing? Is Jeff watching TV? Etc.7. Let Ss match the names with the activities in 2b. Play the recording for the Ss to check the answers.Ⅶ. Pair work1. Look at the pictures and talk about the people in 2a with a partner.2. 板书设计:教学反思:鉴于教学对象是初一学生,根据他们生性好动、求知欲旺盛等特点,我在教学中尽量设置有趣的活动让他们积极参与到活动中来,有更多的机会来说英语,通过两两相互对话合作,降低他们的学习难度,使他们体验到成功的喜悦。

此环节着重是听力训练。

让学生在听对话的过程中抓住关键词汇,因为之前做过此类训练,所以学生听起来比较容易,让他们有一次成功的喜悦和感受,增强他们的自信心。

指导教师点评:课堂气氛比较活跃,积极调动了学生的兴趣,实现师生互动和自主学习。

同时也抓住了本节的重点和难点,照顾到了各个层次的学生,实行的课堂练习也较好地巩固了学生的知识。
