1、Which is more important for a college student: specialized knowledge or a wide

range of learning?

开头：Our group thinks that college student need more specialized knowledge than a wide range of learning .first, as a college student we have the needed knowledge from the senior or high school, what we need is the specialized knowledge so that it can be easier to do well down in the job; second, each person’s brain, energy are limited, it can only learn in every aspect to some of the fur , but cannot conduct in-depth study of some aspects, when they met substantive issues, they only can do nothing but put themselves into the trouble. So in our group’s opinion, we think the specialized knowledge is more important for college students.

辩论：（1）what kind of job do you think only need a range of learning but does not need specialized knowledge? Waiter or printer? As a college graduate do you want to be a waiter or a printer?

（2）if your employees are the person who has a range of learning but not have specialized knowledge how do you know their abilities and how do you arrange the work for everyone?

（3）do not you think if you have a wide range of learning but not specialized knowledge, you will be confused by the different jobs when you make a decision which job you can take and that may be also raise national employed press?

（4）only do we have specialized knowledge of one or two aspects that can we get a job that have a high salary and have more space for development, do you want to have a high salary and good developing space or have a odd job?

反驳：(1) we have specialized knowledge that does not mean we do not know other things, as a college student, we have had certain knowledge foundation, so what the different between the high school and college is that college have its own major, it give us more specialized knowledge to improve individual professional competence, that why we have our own major.

(2) What country a greater need for expertise rather than all-rounder, we have so many people, and only each of us have one or two aspects’ specialized knowledge and have a better division of labor that can make our country stronger!

(3) If you're more than just general learning areas, then you are not competitive in any field, so that you cannot catch the importance of your boss which is attributed to that you have no potentiality.

结尾：In a word, we think that specialized knowledge is more important for college students; it can give us a clear goal to find the job which is adjusted for us; apart from this, the specialized knowledge also can build certain confidence of our abilities, lives are enrich, sometimes it will give us a chance to cooperate with others that develop the social scene and make more friends. So the specialized knowledge is more important than a range of learning for college students.
