B: Just study for going abroad.

A: Go abroad? I have never known that you want to go abroad.

Why do you have this plan so suddenly?

B：I don’t think it is an idea that suddenly comes to mind. There are many teenagers wants to study abroad now. I think studying abroad is great. I want to study abroad too. It is a dream that often appears in my mind.

A: Y eah, I have known it is your dream. But what’s your mind about going abroad, about going to a country you are not familiar with?

B:I think that foreign universities are able to provide us with better education and research support. It goes without saying that developed countries are more advanced in the fields of science and technology. By studying abroad I can keep abreast of the time. So many Chinese students are studying abroad. I think I can do like them.

A : Do you think their choices are true? The high living expense

in foreign countries must overwhelm parents, and the cost will bring much pressure for parents. Besides, a few students go

abroad only because many of their classmates want to go abroad they may not really understand what they want to do themselves. So it is not right time for them to go oversea.

B: I can’t agree with you. W e are individuals that have our mind now, and we know a lot though we are young. W e can judge that if our parents have the ability to provide money. And maybe we can find who I want to be.

A: May be you are right.Going abroad to study gives us a precious opportunity to experience a new environment , a new language and a new culture .It can broaden our scope of knowledge , widen our horizon , and help us become more open-minded .

Going abroad to study a certain subject means that we have a different experience in this field.

B: Do you begin to think that going abroad is a wise choice.

A: However, there are also some big troubles. For example, the teachers may give the lessons in a different way. Can we follow them? The banking system or the transportation system may be completely new to us . How to deal with them? Also, we are surrounded by people with different cultural backgrounds. How to cope with the cultural shock?

B: So we must study now .Not only the language, but also the culture and behaviors. It’s likely that we can be independent,

and adopt the society more easily.

A: Christmas is the most important festival in western countries. More Chinese celebrate Christmas now. However, do Chinese know the meaning behind the Christmas? I wonder it.
