1.Master the focus words“future, might, carefully, sick, scary”and use them, then learn to make plans for the future.

2. Some difficult sentences:

①Sometimes it’s scary to talk about the future.

②Tomorrow is future. So is next week and next year.

1. Sometimes it’s scary to talk about the futu re. 谈起来将来有时候很吓人的。

这是一个it is + adj. + to do sth.句型，句中it 为形式主语，真正的主语是后面

的动词不定式短语。句子的意思为“做.…..事情很……”。

scary adj. 吓人的

e.g. That’s！真令人害怕！

2. Tomorrow is future. So is next week and next year.

在英语中，表示前句所陈述的情况也同样适应于后一句时，常用句式

So+助动词/情态动词/be动词+主语

e.g.：I can swim. So she. 我会游泳，她也会。

3. I would be nice to my students.

be nice to sb.

be good to sb.善待某人

be kind to sb.

e.g.：Our teacher are / / to us. 我们的老师对我们好。

4. You’re always helping people. 你总是帮助别人。

这是一个现在进行时的句子，现在进行时态有时可代替一般现在时，表示一个经常重复的动作或状态，常带有以表达说话人的某种感情，如赞叹，埋怨，厌烦等。

e.g. He is always . 他老是爱说话。

5. You might be a doctor when yo u’re older.

might（表示可能、不确定、期望、许可等，相当于，但更带迟疑、婉转、谦逊等色彩）可能，也许；可以。

e.g. The boy have known the truth, but I am not quite sure.

这男孩当时也许知道真相，但我不很确定。

Think about your life in the future. Share your ideas in a small group. Where will you live? What will your job be? Will you be happy? Why? Write a short paragraph in your group.
