财富和幸福Wealth and Happiness

Everybody wants to get wealth. In today’s material world, making money or becoming wealthy symbolizes a person’s success and capability. Many people make every effort, pay any price to attain greater wealth. With money, they can but nice, large apartments in nice neighborhood; with money, they can own stately luxury cars. Wealth seems with money. Wealth seems to bring all happiness in life.

每个人都想获得财富。在今天的物质世界，赚钱或成为有钱人象征着一个人的成功和能力。许多人尽一切努力，不惜付出任何代价来获得更多的财富。有了钱，但他们可以过得更好，住在尼斯附近的大型公寓；有了钱，他们可以有自己的豪华轿车。财富似乎就是有钱。财富似乎可以给生活带来幸福。

In my opinion, people cannot do anything without money, but money is not everything. What money will bring you depends on your personal belief and goal in life. If you are kind enough to help others, especially the poor, money is a good thing to you. With it, you can do much more for the benefit of people and your country, and it will to your own happiness.

在我看来，没有钱人们什么事情都不能做，但钱却不是一切。金钱会给你带来什么取决于你的个人信念和人生目标。如果你是好心帮助别人，特别是穷人，对于你钱是个好东西。有了它，你可以为人民谋福利，为你的国家做更多的事情，也会给你自己带来幸福。

If you want money just for your own needs, you’ll never be satisfied or happy. In a word, you should have money spent for more people, only then can money be the source of your happiness.

你永远不会满意或高兴如果你只是为了自己的需求而需要钱。总之，你应该为更多的人花钱，只有这样金钱才是你幸福的源泉。

元旦英语日记：我的元旦My New Year's Day

(My New Year's Day) 我的元旦

It’s the New Year's Day today. I got up very early! I heard the bird singing in the trees. After breakfast, my mum, my father and I went to the local park. Everything was beautiful there.

今天是新年的第一天。我很早就起床了！我听见鸟儿在树上歌唱。早餐后，我爸爸妈妈和我去当地的公园。那里所有的一切都很美。

We saw many boats in the lake. Later on, we went to my grandfather’s home. There are many trees and some flowers. At seven o’clock, we went home. It’s a happy day today.

我们看到湖面上有许多船。后来，我们去了爷爷家。有许多树和花。在七点的时候，我们就回家了。今天是快乐的一天。

2012我的新年计划My New Nears Plan

My new years plan is very very brief.

我的新年计划是很简洁的。

New Year's Day is one of important days for many people in the word during the year.Most people spend the New Year's Day in hotels.January 1st is considered as the New Year's Day. Most companies,shops,school,and government offices are closed during that time.

对于很多人来说新年是一年中重要日子之一。大多数人的元旦是在酒店过的。元旦是一月一日。大部分公司，商店，学校，和政府机关在这段时间内都不营业。

People prepare for New Year's Day from late December. First, people spend a few days to clean their houses completely. Some families then put up some new painting from November to January.

人们从十二月下旬就开始准备元旦。首先，人们会花几天时间来完全清理他们的房屋。之后有些家庭会把一些新的绘画从十一月一直挂到一月。

The New Year's meal is also prepared from the end of December.During the New Year's Day,people usually do not cook and relax at home. On New Year's Eve,it is common to have a big dinner with family members or friends at home or in hotels and hear bells which informs us of the coming New Year.On New Year's Day,people first greet each other.

年夜饭也是从十二月底开始准备的。元旦期间，人们通常都是在家里放松，不会在家里做饭。除夕，和家人，朋友在家或者酒店吃一顿丰盛的晚餐，听新一年到来的钟声是很常见的。在新年的第一天，人们首先会互相问候。

Some people wear new coats and visit temples to pray for happiness and health throughout the New Year.Children are busy with getting the gifts from their parents and relatives.

有些人穿上新衣服和去寺庙祈求新一年幸福和健康。孩子们忙于从父母和亲戚中获得礼物。

春节放鞭炮的利与弊The Advantages and Disadvantages of Setting off

Now it is not allowed to set off firecrackers in big cities on festivals. Some people are against it. But I am for the idea.

现在大城市在节假日里不允许燃放鞭炮。有些人反对这么做，但是我赞成。

some people think setting off firecrackers is a traditional way to celebrate important festivals, especially the Spring Festival. It can show people's happiness, their feelings and the festive mood. And people can enjoy the beautiful scenery of fireworks.

一些人认为燃放鞭炮是庆祝重要节日的传统方式，尤其是春节。它可以展示人们快乐、热情的节日气氛。人们也可以欣赏美丽的烟火。
