人教版高中必修4 Unit 2 Working the land 阅读课教学设计从学生的学习兴趣和认知水平出发,倡导学生参与、合作与交流的学习方式。
在课堂教学设计上通过多个任务的完成,促进学生运用所学的英语获取信息、处理信息,并使用信息与人交流、合作,一起发现、解决问题,培养其合作精神,从而更好地发展学生英语语言的综合运用能力。
二、教材分析本节课介绍中国著名农业科学家袁隆平和他的成就。
第一段通过对其外貌的描写,刻画了一个普通中国农民的形象,然后介绍了他的科研成果——超级杂交水稻。
第二段介绍出生、学业和科研情况。
第三段勾勒出他不图名利、无私奉献的高尚品质。
最后一段介绍了袁隆平的梦想。
本文塑造了一个朴实、务实的中国农业科学家的形象。
对于本堂课,笔者主要把它分为三个部分:1.Warming up:由一系列图片和问题对学生进行课前热身,最终引出本堂课的主题人物——袁隆平。
2.Reading:通过快速阅读和精读让学生掌握文章主要内容和具体细节。
3.Post-reading:通过两个任务的完成让学生对本堂课所学内容进行巩固,并进行信息渗透。
与初中描写人物的文章相比,本课一个比较大的区别在于更加注重学生获取、处理信息的能力,文中各自然段并没有提供明显的中心句,要求学生能从中获取信息并进行自我归纳,而且在课后问题处理上比初中课文更有深度,要求学生具备处理文章信息并解决问题的能力。
三、学情分析本课内容与农业有关,但是现在的学生对农业真正了解的不多。
所以在课堂问题设计尽量避免用wh-类需要具体陈述的问题,可用图、表之类的形式来提供信息。
在课堂过程中,要完成部分归纳性或者总结性任务的时候,部分学生会有困难。
因为很多学生的学习方法还是比较机械,不会很好地运用自己的语言来表达,只会机械地照着课文读。
这就更加需要教师组织学生在小组内交流、合作,借鉴别人的方法,最终完成任务。

二.教材分析analysis of the materialThe reading passage A PIONEER FOR ALL PEOPLE is about an agricultural pioneer named Yuan Longping who worked hard to produce a new strain of rice. This is hybrid strain of rice that the United Nations is encouraging him to teach other countries how to grow it. This section plays a very important part in teaching of this unit. So if the students can learn this lesson well, it will behelpful to make the students learn the rest of this unit, cultivate the sense of achievement by studying hard and fulfill their dreams.三.学生特征分析analysis of the students1.
