语言功能:用进行时谈论或描述正在发生的事情。
语言结构:I’m flying in the sky. / I’m looking out of the window.
教学目标:
a.语言知识目标:学习目标语句 I’m flying in the sky, I’m looking out of the window.
b.语言技能目标:能够听懂会说本模块句型,能运用所学的进行时谈论或描述正在发生的事情。学生能用then, but then综合运用现在进行时和一般现在时。
c.情感态度目标:激发学生学习英语的兴趣及运用英语交流的热情,提高学生参与语言活动的积极性,建立学生实现美好生活梦想的自信心。
教学重、难点:
重点:I’m flying in the sky. I’m looking out of the window.,并能在实际情景中运用进行时。
难点:在but then句型中,正确运用现在进行时和一般现在时。
关键:学生能根据老师的框架,通过情境的创设,最终达到综合语言运用的能力。
学情分析:
学生在Module5 Unit1中已经学习了现在进行时,有了一定的基础,but then句型也有所接触,因此在本课的学习中,他们需要更多的活动来参与,来实践,来运用他们所学的语言。而且学生仍然以形象思维为主,教学应尽量采取形象、生动、活泼、有趣的活动来激发他们的学习兴趣,树立他们的自信,从而使他们真正成为学习的主人。
教学准备:多媒体课件、白板、黑板、图片卡片(tunnel、station)
环节设计:
Step1:Warmer (复习启动)
1、Greeting: T: Hello, everyone. Ss: Hello, Nancy.
2、Sing the song: fly, ,fly in the sky
T: What's the weather like? 教师询问天气,学生答。
T: In such a nice day,we are having an English lesson in such a nice room. Try to do and show your best, ok? Follow the music, clap your hands and let’s sing.
(设计意图:演唱学过的歌曲fly, fly in the sky既减轻了学生紧张的状态,又活跃了学生思维,把学生带到了自己预设的fly in the sky的情境中)
2、Free talk:
T: In this song the plane can fly in the sky. Can you fly in the sky?
Ss: No, I can't. T: But I can fly. (教师语气略微停顿)
T: Oh,last night. I had a wonder dream. In my dream I'm flying in the sky.
(T板书I'm flying in the sky. Ss read)
Step2:Presentation(语言呈现)
T: Today we’ll take up Module5 Unit 2.Learn to use English to describe our dreams. First, let's see what Fang fang’s dream is.
T: (Shows CAI) Look! In her dream, where is she?
Ss: She is in a train.
T: Where is the train? Ss: It's coming out of the tunnel. Spell the word: tunnel Step3:Text(课文学习)
1、Listen and murmur. T: Fangfang is looking out of the window. What can she see?
2、Group work:a、read together b、write the difficult words c、Find the answers.
3、Ss answer the questions: (依据学生的回答,老师板书呈现课文图示)
a. The pigs are sleeping under the tree.
b. People are carrying umbrellas.
c. A man is wearing a big hat and a raincoat and boots.
(将词语looking, sleeping, carrying, wearing, jumping放在第一节火车车厢里)
T: Then where does the train goes?
S : The train goes into a tunnel(把隧道图片粘到车厢的后面). Then the train comes out of the tunnel. (板书goes into, comes out 分别在隧道的前后两侧,点拨学生关注句式中动词时态的变化)
4、In the same way teach the second paragraph.
T板书第二节车厢词语shining, playing, 两个车厢上方分别画出雨的标志和小太阳的标志。
5、Practise in pairs and retell the passage.
T:Then the train arrives at the station. Who can describe this passage according to this structure.
S1 give an example. Then single practice and introduce in the front.
Step4:Practice(巩固练习)
1、Look and guess. (CAI)(T →Ss; Ss→Ss)
Weather: In this picture,what's the weather like? It's sunny.
Doing: What are the boys doing? They are playing football.
Where: Where are they playing football? Guess,please? They are in the street. It's dangerous for you to play in the street. You should play on a safety place. What happens? But then A car comes.
Look and say. (CAI)(T →Ss; Ss→Ss)
a. Where: Where are they doing ? They're in a park.
b. Weather: In this picture, what's the weather like? It's sunny.
c. Doing: What are the children doing? Amy is....Daming 's... Peter is...
d. What happens? But then it rains.
Watch a video and describe with “then or but then”.
Alice is eating some food, but then she becomes tall.
Alice is drinking some juice, but then she becomes very small. She is very sad. (由静的图片到动的动画视频,贴近学生喜好,调动学生学习热情。学生的语言输出数量逐渐增多。)
listen and say the poem:My dream
a.Ss listen to the poem
b. T give the red mark: sky,goodbye, Ss find the rule: plane, name; park, dark; cream, dream.
c. Ss clap hands and read the poem together.
Step5:Production(拓展运用)
Task1:Look at the picture and make a story.
