一件骄傲的事(one thing I'm proud of)
满分作文一
Deep in my memory, there is one thing that has always been making me proud.
It happened in the summer of 2009 when I decided to learn swimming. But when I was really standing by the swimming pool, I felt so frightened that I even thought of backing out. However, at that very moment, an inner voice whispered to me, "Since you've made the decision, you aren't supposed to give up." So I continued to practice swimming with great determination. Finally, I made it after a month's hard work.
Nowadays, when I am enjoying the coolness that swimming brings me, that unforgettable experience always makes me proud and reminds me of the proverb "Nothing is impossible to a willing heart."
满分作文二
Everyone has something to be proud. So do I.
I had a hard time adapting to the high school life. I was too shy to communicate with others. My world turned grey.
Depressed and upset, I turned to my teacher for help. He told me ,"Life is like a mirror. If you smile to it, it will give you a smile in return." I followed his advice and tried to be optimistic and enthusiastic. Now, I am proud to enjoy my colorful new life with so many friends.
So whatever difficulties I may encounter in the future, I will always smile to my life and expect a smile that life will give me in return.

一件感动的事
From time to time, we are affected by the people and things around us. Small or great, they never fail to have an influence on us.
I still remember a winter dawn, when I was awakened by the noise outside. It had been snowing heavuly the whole night, so the campus was quiet and full of snow. Especially annoyed by the unpleasant noise, I pulled the curtain aside, only to find that a group of cleaners were working very hard yet dutifully to sweep the snow off the road. The rest of the world were sound asleep, but these workers were fighting bravely with the coldness for the safety and convenience of those totally unknown to them.
In life, we are now and then supported by the people around us, of which we are sometimes unaware. It is their efforts and contribution that make our life beeter. Never should we forget to be grateful to the lovely strangers around us.
一件令你学会感恩的事
As middle school students, not only should we acquire rich knowledge, but also we should have good qualities. I think expressing our gratitude to people who have helped us is among the good qualities we must possess.
Two years ago, my classmate Wang Wei ran into difficulty because his father had been diagnosed with lung cancer. His father’s illness added to his family’s trouble so that Wang Wei was in danger of dropping out of school. After learning about his difficult situation, our head teacher gave him timely help by allowing him to continue his schooling without any tuition. With the aid of our teacher and classmates, Wang Wei has finished school. Just before this important exam he wrote us a letter expressing his sincere thanks for what we have done. We were deeply moved by his letter.
Being grateful to people who helped and supported us is what we are supposed to keep in mind forever.
一件令你学会诚实的事 (一件令人羞愧的事ashamed)
事例一
Honesty is a good quality. If you are honest all the time, you'll be trusted and respected by others. I have learned a lot from my experience of dishonesty.
When I was in Senior One, I was so eager to get a high score that I cheated in the exam. Although nobody discovered it, I had no sense of success at all. Instead, I felt guilty and it bothered me for a long time. What was worse, I was afraid that my friends would know about it and trust me no longer. So from then on, I have been determined never to be dishonest. Otherwise I will be looked down upon and lose all my friends.
As you can see from my experience, if you are honest, you can say and do what you like without fear. In conclusion, to be honest will ensure you a happy life.
事例二
I still remember how I broke my father's favorite vase in my childhood.
One afternoon I was playing hide-and-seek with my neighbors in my house. There was a large table in the corner, on which stood a very beautiful vase handed down from my grandpa. Father cherished it very much. When I tried to hide myself under the table, I broke it by accident. I was too fritenghed to admit it, lying it was the cat that was to blame.
Afterwards, the lie was bothing me though Father didn't discover it. How regretful I was for what I had done. Finally I gathered my courage to tell the truth. Now I feel relieved, just as an English proverb goes: " Honesty is the best policy".
