试析英语课本剧的编演流程及原则作者:黄志美来源:《中国教师》2007年第05期英语课本剧是以英语课本为素材蓝本,在老师的指导下,学生自己改编,自己导演,自己表演的活动形式。
这种形式能很好地调动学生的参与积极性,培养学生主动学习,合作学习的精神,能有效地帮助学生理解课文,增强学习英语的兴趣和信心,是学生进行口语练习和交流的有效途径。
本文是根据笔者多年高中英语课本剧的编演经验,就编演、流程及原创做一个总结,以期对完善英语教学有所裨益。
一、编演课本剧的基本流程课本剧的编演主体无疑是学生,但老师要当好幕后的指挥者。
由于编演课本剧与一般备课不同,除了需要教师对课文内容熟悉,教学目标明确之外,还要掌握戏剧的相关知识,熟悉学生特点。
因此在编演过程中,老师应合理指导学生,促使其发挥最佳效果。
1.设计和改编课本剧的类型很多,形式不能单一。
设计课本剧的种类要根据课本内容,学生兴趣与能力以及具体条件。
特别要符合学生的欣赏要求,因为这样会使学生演得卖力,看得过瘾。
根据笔者经验,当前中学生比较欢迎的形式主要有以下几种:校园搞笑剧、动漫剧、小品剧、舞台剧、话剧、独角戏等。
比如课文The Secret is Out (SEFC Book 1BLesson 74—75), 可按五个场景改编成搞笑短剧;高中英语课本中的A Christmas Present可以改编成小品剧;The Lost Necklace可以改编成舞台剧;高中教材中的The Gift (《麦琪的礼物》)可改编成话剧。
在编排时可以让学生自由组成若干小组,让每一个小组的学生根据剧本编写的要求,在课文中找出可以改编的篇目,讨论编写剧本。
由于他们兴趣大,改编的速度很快,而且他们能够大胆创新,花样翻新,出人意料。
2.合作与分工一般来说,一台戏需要很多人,有台上也有台下,需要合理分工与合作。
正如目前影视界一样,台上露脸的人往往就那么几个。
但课本剧意义在于教育,应该人人有份,特别是台上表演的孩子们,不能只是几个人的专利。

最后可以安排一个有趣的“舌头大挑战”,这可以是一首好听的英文歌,也可以是一句英语绕口令。
可让同学们先把歌词或绕口令抄写下来,老师或小主持人教唱或领读几遍,再让他们自行练习几次,看谁能把歌曲尽快学会,谁能把绕口令说得又快又好。
