Yet, based on such ruins, there still stands our nation----China, unyielding and unconquerable!I once came across an American tourist. She said, “China has a history of five thousand years, but the US only has a history of200 years. Five thousand years ago, China took the lead in the world, and now it is the US that is leading.”My heart was deeply touched by these words. It is true that we"re still a developing nation, but it doesn"t mean that we can despise (鄙视) ourselves. We have such a long-standing history, we have such abundant resources, we have such intelligent and diligent people, and we have enough to be proud of. We have reasons to sayproudly：we are sure to take the lead in the world in the future again, for our problems are big, but our ambition (雄心) is even bigger, our challenges (挑战) are great, but our will is even greater.I am Chinese. However, it also instills in us a strong work ethic, discipline, and perseverance, which are essential qualities for success in both academic and professional pursuits. Next, I would like to share with you the richness of Chinese culture. Chinese culture is one of the oldest and most diversecultures in the world. It encompasses various aspects such as traditional values, art forms, philosophy, and customs. For example, we have the traditional Chinese festivals like the Spring Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival, which are celebrated with great enthusiasm and have deep cultural significance. The traditional Chinese values of filial piety, respect for elders, and harmony are deeply ingrained in our upbringing and shape our behavior and interactions with others. Chinese calligraphy, painting, and martial arts are some of the well-known art forms that have been passed down through generations, demonstrating the beauty and intricacy of Chinese culture. As a Chinese student, I feel proud to be immersed in such a rich cultural heritage, and it is essential for us to preserve and promote our cultural traditions in this rapidly changing world.Now, let me share with you the challenges and achievements I have encountered as a Chinese student. As a student in a rapidly globalizing world, learning English has become increasingly important. English proficiency is not only essential for academic purposes but also for communication with people from diverse backgrounds. I have faced challenges in improving my English skills, but I have also made significant achievements. By constantly practicing listening, speaking, reading, and writing in English, I have been able to enhance my language abilities and overcome language barriers. Additionally, with the advancement of technology, I have embraced e-learning, online courses, and educational resources that have expanded my access to knowledge and facilitated my learning process.
