Unit 10 Section B话题写作Problems and Advice教学设

教学理念:

《英语课程标准》明确指出:提倡任务型教学模式,把综合语言运用能力的培养落实在教学过程中,倡导体验、实践、参与和合作的学习方式,实现任务的目标,感受成功,强调学生能用英语做事情。本节课旨在良好的语言环境和提供大量的语言实践机会,这样不仅增加教学的直观性,使得学生宛若置身于真实的语言环境中,让学生运用所学目标语言去完成各个任务。学生在完成任务过程中,通过自己的体验、感知、实践、参与和交流,形成语感,自然而然地产生用英语表达的需要,提高他们的交际能力与语言文字输出能力。

【教学目标】

1、知识目标:掌握谈论问题和给出建议需要用到的重点词汇及句型。

2、能力目标:听:To listen to problems and advice in groups.

说:To talk about personal problems and give advice.

读:To enjoy good articles from groups and class.

写:To write an article to help people solve problems.

3、情感、态度价值观目标:

通过本课的学习,使学生能有机会在学习英语的同时,提出自己在生理、心理及学习中存在的问题;在师生间,学生间相互倾诉的同时,加深彼此的了解,增进感情,并互相给出合理的建议解决问题或缓解这些问题带来的不良情绪。

【教学重点】

通过学习,正确恰当地使用合理的句型谈论青少年遇到的问题及解决方式,在情境中操练语言,在合作中运用语言。

【教学步骤】

Before class:Encourage some groups of students to take part in a survey about problems of teenagers and try to find out problems Top 3 among teenagers today.

Learning process

Step 1 Leading-in

1)Play a song and ask students to find out little Jay’s problems in the

song.

2)Students need to think of their own problems

Step 2 Oral practice about sharing problems in groups.

Students share their own problems in groups. (2 minutes given)

The group leaders interview group members about their problems and then show all these problems and what they think of these problems. Step 3 Survey about problems of middle school students

Invite one group to come to the front and share their survey results. Others fill in the blanks.

Step 4 Oral practice about giving advice in groups.

Each group of students choose one from Problem Top 3 in groups and give at least two pieces of advice. Then tell of reasons why they give the advice. Fill in the chart together.

Group leaders come to the front and show ideas.

Offer students some useful expressions like: can (can’t)… /should

(shouldn’t)… / need to… / had better (not) …

/It’s necessary for…to…/ It’s best (not) to… /

If…, … / …by doing etc.

Step 5 Writing practice

Write an article to help one friend Peter solve his problem. (8 minutes given)

要求:1. 短文必须包括Peter的苦恼

2. 给出至少两条建议及原因

3. 对青少年苦恼的看法

4. 不少于80词。
