When
our country was colonized by the Spaniards, we don’t know that we’re already adopting their traits and activities . Thus, we learned how to bake and do other things as a part of our daily living. There they introduced to us different livelihood such as ; baking industry, pottery making etc. The first bread that Spanish introduced to us is the Eucharistic bread and second is the delicious pandesal.

And in the early 17th century, the Spanish missionaries introduced the cultivation of wheat for Eucharistic purpose. And as time passes by, it was adopted by different countries until it reached Philippines.

After the Egyptians learned how to bake bread, it was then flourished and developed by the Greeks in Roman Empire.
