陕西历史博物馆Hello, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Shaanxi History Museum. First, I want to give you a brief introduction of this museum. Shaanxi History Museum is a sizable national museum with a wide range of artifacts. The museum shows a great deal of elegance and originality in style. It was designed by Zhang Jinqiu, a very famous female architect in China. Now we are in the Preface Hall. Here we can see a giant lion and three big pictures. The giant stone walking lion was originally erected in front of Shunling Mausoleum. It represents the cultural exchange between China and other countries. The massive picture shows the surging and roaring Yellow River and the vast Loess Plateau, the habit of Shanxi residents and the candle of their ancient civilization. //序言大厅Ok, we are going to rhe first gallery. The first section focuses on the history of the Prehistoric Age. Here is the Liantian Ape-man, the fossil of a human skull in Liantian. It was the earliest known Homo erectus in North Asia. And this is the painted pottery. There are a lot of symbols on the edge of it.//史前时代Ok, we are going to the Zhou Dynasty which was a slave society. The bronze casting technology was in the high period, so we also call it the Bronze Age in Chinese history. The “ding〞or tripod, which is a cooking utensilof ancient times, is the symbol of power and rank (and were things used by royal family members). Divination had to be practiced for all major activities at that time. A record of the divination results was carved onto the tortoise-shell or animal bone, which formed China’s earliest written script, known as “oracle bone inscription〞.Here we can also see some other artifacts, like the Chime Bell, wine vessels.//周代And next, let’s come to the Qin Dynasty. Agriculture was integral to the economy of the Qin state. The iron implements unearthed from the site indecate that iron wares widely used instead of bronze wares. Here we see a tiger tally〔虎符〕. The body of it can be divided into two halves. The left was held by the general while the right was held by the Emperor. When both pieces were matched together, the general was allowed to move the army. We can also see a bronze sword which retains its sharpness and glitter without a sign of rust after being buried for 2000 years.Well, then, we come to the Han Dynasty. This is a very important historical stage in China’s history. The Han nationality was officially formed during this period. So did the languages. The Han city of chang’an was the first international metroplis in Chinese history. The Han Dynasty also paid great attentions to agriculture and animal husbandry. Here, we can see a national treasure- a Jade Seal(皇后玉玺). This one belonged to a queen in Han Dynasty. Called LuZhi, she was a very powerful woman at that time. And the gold and silver censer is another national treasure. Well, This lamp was very famous in Han Dynasty. At that time people lit an oil light on the round part. The smoke would collect in the stem and then would be filtered in the water filled body.//秦汉时代Next, we come to the Wei, the Jin, the South and North Dynasties. It was the most turbulent period in ancirnt times. There were wars of unification and national dividion. This multi-faceted seal is made of jet, and there are 26 faces all together. The owner ofit was DaGuXin. His three daughters were respectively married to three emperors. Therefore, people call him as the first father in law in ancient China.//魏晋南北朝We will now to the third gallery of the Sui and Tang Dynasties. The Sui and Tang Dynasties was a pe riod when China’s feudal society was at the height of its power and splendor. It also marked a golden era in the history of Shaanxi. The Sui Dynasty was a very short period, but it made a strong base for thre development of the Tang Dynasty. Compared with other dynasties, the Tang Dynasty got high marks for its economy, politics, and culture and so on. So next we will see some handicrafts of the Tang Dynasty. Here is the Tang Tri – colored glazed Pottery, which brought Chinese pottery craft into a new stage. And one of the best qualities of natioanl treasure is this Lotus-flower design golden-bowl. There are many design cuts on back of the lotus, such as dragon, phoenix, and deer and so on. It shows us the royal technology was very high. Well, this is a fres co, called “Chinese officals and Foreign Envoys〞. It shows the active exchange of friendly and diplomatic visit between China and foreign countries during the Tang Danasty.Ok, ladies and gentlemen, here is a national treasure and is a symbol of our museum ---the Ox-headed Agate Cup. It was made out of one whole piece of agate. This one is one of the most valuable national treasures in our museum. And in the end, let’s come to the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. Since the song dynasty, Xi’an is no lon ger the capital but still very important. Here is a national treasure---the Green Glazed Bottom of the Song Dynasty. This kettle is not only beautiful, but has a principleof the pot bottom.Ok, everyone! So much for this today! We still have some free time. So next, you may look around and take some pictures. We’ll leave at 2 o’clock, so please do not be late. And I’ll stay here, if you have any question, pleak ask me. By the way, watch your step please! So next, it’s your turn. Thank you for listening.【本文档内容可以自由复制内容或自由编辑修改内容期待你的好评和关注,我们将会做得更好】。

You may wonder what the present is. Well let m e introduce it to you. The music you are going to listen to is th e very gift. Now, please enjoy the music.Have you ever listened to the music? And what musical instrum ent is used to play the beautiful melody? That’s the serial bells, a wonder in the world. Indeed a wo nder in the world. Every year tourists from all over the world cont inuously come to visit them and appreciate the programs played by it . Each year they return with unforgetable memory. The building with red wall and green tiers before us is the very museum, Hubei Provincial Museum. Constructed in 1953, the museu m is the center for collecting, studying, preserving and displaying h istorical and cultural relics in Hubei. More than 700,000 ancient rel ics are stored up in it. There is a collection of 100,000 books on history, archaeology, art etc. These relics provide precious material data for studying the development of history, culture, art, science and technology in ancient China.Situated in the middle reach of the Yangtze River, Hubei has a long history and rich land. As early as 2,000,000 years ago, ou r ancestors lived and worked here and gradually they began to create their own civilization. The relics unearthed from Zenghouyi Tomb are good proofs to the civilization. The relics displayed in the museumare most from the tomb. Serial bells are the most precious and gr eatest of them all.Are you familiar with the history of the serial bells? It is said that it is the oldest musical instrument kept in the world. You see, our ancestors already knew how to use music t o enrich their lives so long ago.Luckily indeed, our archaeologists discovered it by accident an d thus displayed the marvelous ancient civilization of Chu State in front us.In 1978, a soldier discovered a large tomb when building his house. It was really a great surprise to discover it at that time . Afterwards, archaeologists excavated these serial bells on the same spot. This was appraised to be the tomb of Zenghouyi. It was220 s quare meters, 20 metros deep, consisting of 4 tombs. The main coffin was made up of huge internal and external coffins. The man in it died at the age of 45. Those buried alive with the dead were all female, aged from 13 to 25. They were in 21 coffins.Besides the serial bells, more than 7,000 other historical cul tural relics have been unearthed, such as bronze ware, ancient musica l instrument, weapons, golden ware, jade ware, painted ware, wooden w are, and bamboo ware. Most of them are unique art treasure and they were deliberately made. What is especially worth mentioning is the ancient musical ins trument, such as serial bells, stone chimes, drums, 25-stringed plucked zither, and bamboo flute. They are totally 8 types, including 124 pieces. The entire musical instrument is placed perfectly among the bronze serial bells. They make the tomb look like an ancient concert hall.Today the underground concert hall has come back to life. As a major instrument, 64 serial bells are put in the middle room, l ined along the north and west wall. It can be concluded that serial bells are Zenhouyi’s favorite, for his body was placed in the wes t room.As wee see, these big bells are shaped like round-bottomed baskets; small ones are like warming pots. They are hung in 3 layers from the winding bell shelf that is 13 meters long, 2.7 meters high. The whole bell shelf is supported by 6 human-shape objects. It is as strong as newly cast.Ok, let me give you a brief introduction about the elegant a ncient serial bells. All the bells have been played. They are all c arved with inscription about musical melody. Each bell can produce 2 pitches. After many years of research, we find that its amplitude approached the international level of today. The combined scale is the 7 notes in C major of today. Its compasses very side, including5 and a half octaves. The whole sound may be adjusted. Its wooden shelf is quite exquisite. Although buried for 2,400 years, the serial bells are well played. It not only can be used to play with to produce scores with the same melody, but also can produce mixed soun ds though harmony and repeat tunes. Chinese musical pieces, such as Intoning Three Times Before Leaving Yang Pass, The Moon On The Sprin g River, and foreign pieces, such as Christmas Eve, can be played o n it, even Beethoven’s Ode to Joy in the Ninth Symphony can be. F oreign tourists are usually attracted by the fascinating music when l istening to the Chinese song The Night On The Prairie. When foreignsongs cut in, they are shocked by the old civilization of Chu Sta te. As the famous violinist, Menuin praised it, ‘The grand Greek mu sic is accepted by the world. However, the musical instruments in an cient Greece were made of wood, what’s more, not a single instrumen t is kept till today. Here we are able to enjoy the sound of the instrument of 2,000 years\\\\\\\' history from the tomb of Chu Stat e.Actually, whoever enjoys the music played on the serial bells will be surprised at the great achievement made by the people of Chu State in the fields of music, culture, smelting, and casting.According to the history, Chu State was called the state of rites and music at that time. People in Chu State love dancing. The y danced in the palace and sang in the room. They knew how to enj oy dancing and singing. We can imagine the following scene. The host of the bomb was seated in his palace and watched the girls dancin g. On both his sides sat his followers. They sat on the floor. A table with short legs was placed in front of them. They put one ha nd on the table that is used to hold arms. This can be proved by the relics in the tomb.Do you know, in China, a male and a female mandarin ducks a re the symbol of love, for they often play together in the water a nd live together. Can you see the box here? This box was found in the tomb. The box was painted. It was empty in it. But there are some pictures. They describe a very vivid situation; some people ar e striking bells, beating drums and dancing. This picture is very pr ecious, for we can know how these instruments should be played, espe cially the serial bells.I wonder if you have noticed that there is only one mandarin duck on the box. Do you know why? Oh, he is abandoned by his lo ver. But he found a new company—music. He didn’t heed the other mandarin duck, for what he really loved was music.Well, I have a question. What is the tourists’favorite? The music played on the serial bells.。

On top of this walls, yellow glazed-tile roofs and upturned eaves. On top of this magnificent building ,there stand five lofty halls with a main hall in the center. The main hall is roofed by multiple eaves and covers a space of9room-units. It is flanked by two wings on each side .The wings are square in shape ,plete with multiple and four edged eaves and pinnacles. All of these structures are connected by a colonnade. Because these halls resemble a soaring bird, it was also know as wufenglou (Five-phoenix Tower) . Inside the main hall there is a throne. Drums and bells were stored in the wings. Whenever the emperor presided over grand ceremonies or observed rites in the Hall of Upreme Harmony, drums, bells and gongs would be struck to mark the oasion. As the legend goes, the Meridian Gate used to be a place where condemned ranking officials would be executed. This not true. However, flogging was carried out here by the Ming emperors ,If a courtier falls afoul of the emperor, he wouldbe stripped of his court dress and flogging with a stick .At one point the punishment became so harsh that a total of11people died from fatal wound on a single oasion .On the other hand, this building was also used to observe important oasions like the traditional Chinese Lantern Festival (15th day of the first lunar month). On these oasions, Chinese lanterns would be hanged and sumptuous banquets would be given in honour of the whole court of ministers and other ranking officials.Upon entering the Meridian Gate we began our tour of the Palace Museum. The river foowing in front of us is known as Jin Shui He (Golden Water River) and the five marbles bridges spanning it are known as the Inner Golden Water Bridges. The on in the middle was used exclusive by the emperor and its banisters were carved with dragon and phoenix designs. The bridges flanking the imperial one were reserved for princes and other royal members. The rest were used by palatines. Aside from decoration, the golden Water River was also dug as precaution against fire. Most of the structures within the palace Museum are made of wood. What is more ,aording to ancient Chinese cosmology, the South is the abode of fire, so this brook wasdug on the southern tip of the Palace. In this way, the Palace Museum reflects traditional Chinese culture. This building is called the Gate of Supreme Harmony .In the foreground stand two bronze lions. Can anybody ___ which is male and which is female? The one on the east playing with a ball is male, symbolizing power and universal unity. The other on the west with a cub cuddling underneath its claw is female? The one on the east playing with a ball is male, symbolizing power and universal unity. The other on the west with a cub cuddling underneath its claw is female, representing prosperity the endless suession. A layout of the Palace Museum is posted by the entrance . From it ,you can see that the Palace Museum has two main parts: the forecourt and the inner court. The three main halls constitute the mainstay of the forecourt, and it was here that the emperor announced decisions and observed rites. Behind the forecourt there is the inner court, consisting of major halls and the Imperial Garden .It was where the emperor attended state affairs, lived and enjoyed his luxurious life. The exhibition system of the Palace Museum involves historical court relics and articles of ancient art and culture. The Palace Museum houses nearly one millionarticles of rare treasure, or one sixth of the total number in all of China `s museums. There are the three main halls of the Palace museum, built on a triple marble terrace . Since most of China `s architecture is made of wood, the buildings cannot be too tall. To gain the height of the architecture, ingenious ancient artisans built the hall on a gigantic stone terrace .It is also to this end that not a single plant was grown in the square. On stairways of triple marble terrace there are18bronze tripods .The verandah is flanked by bronze tortoises and cranes, which served as symbols of longevity .On the east is a sundial, an ancient timepiece. On the west there is a grain measure suggesting that the emperor was just and equitable. In the front and on each flank ,there is a pair of gilt bronze vats (caldrons ) molded during the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty .Each of these weights2tons and is filled with water as a precaution in the event of a fire .The structure in the very middle is the Hall of SupremeHarmony ,also known as the throne hall. It is64meters in width and is38meters from entrance to rear. With terraceexclusive ,the hall is meters in height and is meters inall .Covering and areaof2,377square meters, the Hall of SupremeHarmony is China` s largest exiting wooden structure. The hall is supported by6thick ,round pillars carved in a design of coiling dragons. As the holiest place in the hall, the ceiling and colored patterns were made of the finest material available at that time. The throne was placed on a terrace and is flanked by statues of elephants, Luduan (a unicorn which could travel18,000 kilometers a day and understand all languages), cranes and incense barrels .Over the throne there is the caisson ,or covered ceiling ,which consists of a coiling dragon playing with a ball in its mouth .This ball is known as Xuanyuan Mirror ,and was supposedly made by a Chinese emperor of remote times to serve as a reminder that thee rulers to follow were his hereditary heirs. The throne is made of nanmu and painted in gold .Magnificently built and luxuriously decorated ,this hall did not serve as a place in which the emperor attended to daily affairs. He used his hall for major events such as his birthday, conferral of title of empress or dispatch of generals to war.模板,内容仅供参考。

湖北-省博物馆英文导游辞
湖北-省博物馆英文导游辞Good morning ladies and gentlemen,Today, we will go to visit Hubei Provincial Museum. On the way to the museum, I‘d like to show a present to express my warmest welcome to you. You may wonder what the present is. Well let me introduce it to you. The music you are going to listen to is the very gift. Now, please enjoy the music.Have you ever listened to the music? And what musical instrument is used to play the beautiful melody? That‘s the serial bells, a wonder in the world. Indeed a wonder in the world. Every year tourists from all over the world continuously come to visit them and appreciate the programs played by it. Each year they return with unforgettable memory. The building with red wall and green tiers before us is the very museum, Hubei Provincial Museum. Constructed in 1953, the museum is the center for collecting, studying, preserving and displaying historical and cultural relics in Hubei. More than 700,000 ancient relics are stored up in it. There is a collection of 100,000 books on history, archaeology, art etc. These relics provide precious material data for studying the development of history, culture, art, science and technologyin ancient China.Situated in the middle reach of the Yangtze River, Hubei has a long history and rich land. As early as 2,000,000 years ago, our ancestors lived and worked here and gradually they began to create their own civilization. The relics unearthed from Zenghouyi Tomb are good proofs to the civilization. The relics displayed in the museum are most from the tomb. Serial bells are the most precious and greatest of them all.Are you familiar with the history of the serial bells? It is said that it is the oldest musical instrument kept in the world. You see, our ancestors already knew how to use music to enrich their lives so long ago.Luckily indeed, our archaeologists discovered it by accident and thus displayed the marvelous ancient civilization of Chu State in front us.In 1978, a soldier discovered a large tomb when building his house. It was really a great surprise to discover it at that time. Afterwards, archaeologists excavated these serial bells on the same spot. This was appraised to be the tomb of Zenghouyi. It was220 square meters, 20 metros deep, consisting of 4 tombs. The main coffin was made up of huge internal and external coffins. The man in it died at the age of 45. Those buried alivewith the dead were all female, aged from 13 to 25. They were in 21 coffins.Besides the serial bells, more than 7,000 other historical cultural relics have been unearthed, such as bronze ware, ancient musical instrument, weapons, golden ware, jade ware, painted ware, woodenware, and bamboo ware. Most of them are unique art treasure and they were deliberately made. What is especially worth mentioning is the ancient musical instrument, such as serial bells, stone chimes, drums,25-stringed plucked zither, and bamboo flute. They are totally 8 types, including 124 pieces. The entire musical instrument is placed perfectly among the bronze serial bells. They make the tomb look like an ancient concert hall.---来源网络整理,仅供参考。
