Shanxian, located in the eastern part of Shandong Province, is a city with a rich history and culture, beautiful scenery and delicious food.

人文地理(Human Geography) :

Shanxian has a population of about 1.1 million people and covers an area of 1250 square kilometers. It is located in the middle of Shandong Peninsula, bordering Tai'an City and Jinan City to the west, Zibo City and Laiwu City to the south, and Weifang City to the north. The region is dominated by hills and mountains, with the Weishan Mountain in the north, the Mengshan Mountain in the east, and the Taishan Mountain in the west.

历史文化(History and Culture) :

Shanxian has a long history and rich culture. It was a center of

culture and education during the Han Dynasty. The famous philosopher Confucius was born in Qufu, which is adjacent to Shanxian. The county is also known for the "Three Treasures" of Calligraphy, Painting and Seals in Shandong Province. The Shanxi Guild Hall, built in the Ming Dynasty, is a well-preserved ancient building in the city.
