英语作文：我的成功之道

My Way To Success

I firmly believe a saying:”Where there is a will, there is a way.” Therefore when it comes to my way to success, there are two words in my mind: persistence and innovation.

When I was a child, I was very eager to swimming. I often imagine if only I could swim when I seeing my partners who were a little older than me swimming in the pool. Then I asked them to teach me how to swim. At the beginning, I often got a mouthful of water, and several times I wanted to quit it. But I couldn’t overcome the expectation to swim, and I persevered. I just thought if there were any skills I didn’t master. Then I changed a way of swimming. Gradually, I got the key points of swimming and I could swim with my partners at last.

The mater gave me a good lesson that something are very hard and only persisting and directly facing difficulty can we be successful. As far as I’m concerned, if we give up, there won’t be any chance to succeed. On the contrary, if we persist, maybe success is waiting us in the near future. But in some cases, if we blindly persist, we still can’t achieve success. At this time, we should find other ways, namely, innovate. Innovation, I think, is the cornerstone of the road to success at some time.
