Hello,everybody.T oday I want to introduce a great woman to you.And I think she is well-known in China.Her name is Deng Yaping.

Deng Yaping was a member of the Chinese national table tennis team from 1988 to 1997,during which time she won 18 world titles,including the 1992 and 1996 Olympic Gmaes,world championships and World Cup. She has won 132 champions together.

She was born on Feb.6th in Henan.She began to learn table tennis when she was only 5 years old from her father.She joined the national table tennis team in 1988.Because of her height(only 1.5meters),many teams didn’t accept her.But she was really adamancy, she won her first gold when she was only 10 years old!So incredible!Because of this,she finally joined the Henan team.Then in 1988,she joined the national team.Then people don’t think that only tall people can play table tennis well,because Deng Yaping was a example! And then she was given the prize by Samaranch.But this is not all the things I like with her.At that time,she has became famous in China,but she went to study again,she went to Tsinghua University,University of Cambridge and The University of Nottingham.She is very studious.

I think Deng Yaping is very successful !Whatever in her career or her study,we should study her character.
