提高中职生英语职场应用能力探析——以英语技能大赛职场应用环节为例

为此，嘉兴市教育局自2012年以来每年组织全市职业学校举办英语技能比赛，通过“在线测试”“职场应用”“职场应用”“职业风采”四个环节，对参赛学生的英语技能进行考核测评，以不断提高学生的英语综合应用能力。
比赛期间，笔者指导参赛的学生表现出色，多次获得了全市理工类前三名的好成绩。
在本文中，笔者选取“职场应用”这一环节，按照“发现问题、分析问题、解决问题”的思路，就如何提高中职学生在具体职业场景中的英语交流能力进行探究性分析，并有针对性地提出具体的教学策略。
一、什么是英语“职场应用”嘉兴市教育局组织举办的英语技能比赛中设置的“职场应用”环节设定两个阶段由两名学生参赛。
第一阶段：在备赛区，限时30分钟，两名选手随机抽取任务单，并用英语沟通和协作完成并提交任务单。
第二阶段：在赛场，选手A 按用英语向评委陈述任务单内容及其完成情况（限时3分钟），选手B 回答与任务单相关的评委的现场提问（限时2分钟）。
此环节要求参赛学生能够用英语正确完成任务单，自然流畅，观点明确，条理清晰地阐述任务单中体现的职业意义；能够正确理解裁判提问，回答有理 有据。
二、英语“职场应用”存在的主要困难笔者在指导学生参赛的过程中发现，中职学生存在以下四个问题。
1.英语听力基础薄弱，影响了语言表达的准确性和完整性听力在英语听、说、读、写技能中排在首位，是英语口语表达的基础。
听力的掌握程度直接影响着口语表达能力能否提升。
尽管近年来职业教育越来越重视学生的英语听力教学，但是不少学生的英语听力仍然薄弱。
笔者在指导学生参加英语技能比赛时，发现这一状况较为突出，具体表现为学生听不懂评委提出的问题。

(二) 竞赛内容本次比赛内容分为能力在线、情境交流、职场应用、职业风采四部分，各部分得分分别占总成绩的10%、35%、40%、15%。
1. 能力在线选手上机操作，使用职业英语能力测试系统，主要考查选手在通用职业场景下的综合语言应用能力，包含阅读理解和听打两个项目，分值权重各占50%。
每支参赛队2名选手卷面成绩的平均分乘以10%为此部分最终成绩，满分10分。
时间30分钟。
2.情境交流每支参赛队选手现场从五组漫画或图片中抽取一组，漫画或图片内容皆是与选手学习、生活等紧密相关的场景，呈现一个工作任务或事件。
一名选手在2分钟之内对漫画或图片内容做出描述并阐释个人见解，然后另一名选手在1分钟之内与外籍评委就漫画或图片主题进行互动问答。
本环节满分35分。
3.职场应用选手以2人团队为单位完成一个通用职业场景中的任务，如制定工作方案、工作流程等。
比赛过程分为两部分：第一部分在备赛区进行，选手抽取到任务后，在规定时间内（30分钟）对所给任务信息进行分析、筛选，通过分工协作，按任务单要求分步骤完成该任务并提交任务解决方案（如工作流程单、方案表格等）。
第二部分在赛场内进行，一名选手按要求向评委陈述任务完成情况，另一名选手回答评委提出的相关问题，此部分限时5分钟。
整个过程，要求使用英语沟通交流。
本环节满分40分。
4.职业风采选手以2人团队为单位表演节目，形式不限，时间3-5分钟。
要求使用英语，内容与所学专业或将来的职业相结合，鼓励原创，充分体现职业学校学生的英语风采和青春活力。
每队可以有1-2名助演嘉宾，但评委只依据选手的表现打分。
本环节满分15分。

中职英语技能竞赛辅导要点探析 ---以职场运用为例摘要：本文针对中职英语技能竞赛辅导的现状，以中职英语技能竞赛职场运用为例，对中职英语技能竞赛培训要点进行反思，旨在探索在“以赛促学，以赛促教，赛教融合”宗旨下如何组织培训并有效提高学生英语运用能力。
关键词：中职英语；技能竞赛；培训方法1.引言近年来，中职英语技能竞赛一直开展得红红火火。
“以赛促学，以赛促教，赛教融合”一直是技能竞赛的宗旨。
技能竞赛所取得的成绩，不仅检验着各所中职学校的办学效果，也促进各中职学校不断改进教法和提高教学质量。
然而，对于如何指导竞赛，不少年轻指导老师感到非常迷茫。
笔者在职校多年从事英语教学和技能竞赛指导培训工作，取得了一定的成绩，和同行们在此方面也多次进行探讨，积累了一定的经验。
本文就竞赛规程解读、选手选拔、培训计划等方面进行阐述，探讨技能竞赛培训要点。
1.解读竞赛规程，找准培训切入点参加任何竞赛，不论是学生竞赛还是教师竞赛，第一步就是认真解读竞赛规程，这是必不可少的环节。
首先，要知道“比什么”。
以中职英语技能竞赛的职场运用为例，该任务是：参赛选手共同完成一个职业场景中的任务，如制定工作方案或工作流程等，选手A就任务的结果向评委做一份口头报告，而选手B则回答与任务有关的问题。
通过职场运用比赛任务可以知道，职场运用考察的是学生合作交流的能力，英语口语表达能力和听力理解能力，以及对信息的分析筛选和归纳整合能力。
那么，在培训的时候，就可以有针对性地对学生这方面的能力进行训练。
其次，要确定“怎么比”。
职场运用的比赛流程如下：第一环节是在备赛区进行，选手抽取到任务后，在规定时间内（30 分钟）对所给任务信息进行分析、筛选，通过分工协作，按任务单要求分步骤完成该任务并提交任务解决方案（如工作流程单、方案表格等）；在第二环节中，选手 A 在 3 分钟内向评委陈述任务完成情况，选手 B 在 2 分钟内回答评委就任务提出的 2 个问题（包括评委提问时间）。

中职英语技能大赛规程明确表达了该项比赛的主要目的在于为全国中职学生及英语教师创建一个交流学习、拓展视野、展示才华的平台。
比赛愈发完善，设置了四个赛项：在线测评、情境交流、职场应用和职业风采。
“职场应用”主要是通过模拟在职场中可能出现的工作情境，着重考查学生用英语解决实际问题的能力及信息处理、沟通能力和团队协作能力，有助于学生未来职业竞争力的培养和提高。
“职场应用”为团体赛。
选手以2人团队为单位完成一个职业场景中的工作任务，如，选择最佳入住酒店、招聘最合适人才等。
比赛分为两个阶段：第一阶段在备赛室进行，每支参赛队从备选任务中抽取一个任务后，在30分钟内阅读、理解、分析任务；之后，进行信息的交流、共享、筛选；最后，协作完成任务单并提交最佳的解决方案。
第二阶段在赛场内进行，选手A在3分钟内向评委陈述任务完成情况，选手B在2分钟内，回答裁判任务完成情况以及提出的相关问题，整个过程要求用英语交流。
值得注意的是，“职场应用”赛项在2017年前所占比分为30%，2017年上升为35%，更加凸显了其在整个比赛中的重要位置。
要在这一赛项中取得好成绩，我们就必须先要了解这一环节的具体评分标准。

“2013年全国职业院校技能大赛”高职组移动互联网应用软件开发赛项规程赛项名称移动互联网应用软件开发竞赛目的通过竞赛，培养高职高专学生的自主创新意识和工程实践能力；激发高职高专学生对移动互联网应用软件开发领域的学习和研究兴趣，提高其软件编程能力和职业素质；引导高职院校移动互联网应用相关专业建设和教育教学改革；搭建校企合作平台，共同提升高职计算机类专业学生能力素质与企业用人标准的吻合度；为高职计算机类专业学生提供自主创业的锻炼平台。

五、职业英语（服务类专业组、其他专业组）技能竞赛规程一、竞赛内容与竞赛方式（一）竞赛内容本次竞赛内容分为情境交流与职场应用两部分。
1．情境交流每支参赛队的2名选手根据所提供的一组与生活紧密相关的图片，包括参观游览、环境保护、运动休闲、文明礼仪、校园生活等主题，讨论准备10分钟后，推选1名选手在2分钟之内用英语对图片内容做出描述并阐释个人见解，然后在3分钟内与外籍评委就图片主题及描述内容进行互动问答。
2．职场应用选手以2人团队为单位完成一个通用职业场景中的任务，包括求职面试、公务接待、商务旅行、公司介绍、产品介绍等职业场景。
本部分比赛过程分为两个阶段：第一阶段在候赛区进行，选手在20分钟内对所给任务信息进行分析、筛选，通过分工协作，按任务单要求分步骤完成该任务并提交任务解决方案（如工作流程单、方案表格等）。
第二阶段在赛场内进行，先由一名选手在2分钟内向评委陈述任务完成情况，然后，另一名选手回答评委提出的相关问题，限时3分钟。
整个过程，要求使用英语沟通交流。
（二）竞赛方式2人小组赛。
分服务类专业组和其他专业组（各组专业名录见附件），参赛选手不得跨专业类参加比赛。
两组使用同一竞赛规程及评分细则，竞赛试题分开命题。
参赛选手由各市州组织选拔确定，各市州可选送两支参赛队（服务类专业组、其他专业组各一支）。
每支参赛队由1名指导教师及2名参赛选手组成。
二、竞赛时量与竞赛流程（一）竞赛时量每支参赛队竞赛总用时40分钟。
其中，第一部分情境交流用时15分钟（准备10分钟，图片描述2分钟，互动问答3分钟）；第二部分职场应用用时25分钟，其中，第一阶段用时20分钟，第二阶段用时5分钟（陈述任务完成情况2分钟，互动问答3分钟）。
（二）竞赛流程本次竞赛分两场进行，第一场情境交流，第二场职场应用。
第一场比赛全部结束后，再进行第二场比赛。
参赛选手在第一场比赛开始前30分钟进入第一候赛室，凭身份证和参赛证进行检录并抽取比赛序号。
第二场比赛不再另行抽序。

2013年全国职业英语技能大赛职场应用
比赛说明及规则
比赛说明：
本部分含两个阶段
第一阶段：在备赛区进行，限时15分钟，两名选手通过沟通和协作完成并提交任务单（Worksheet），并按照比赛要求分别准备第二阶段的比赛内容。
第二阶段：在赛场进行，选手A按要求向评委陈述任务完成情况（限时3分钟），选手B回答评委的现场提问（限时2分钟）。
本部分满分30分。
比赛规则：
1. 选手只能用英语交流（包括读和写），否则将被取消参赛资格；
2. 两名选手之间不得互相展示或交换任何材料，否则将被取消参赛资格；
3. 选手可根据需要在备赛纸上书写内容，汇报或回答问题时可携带此材料，但不得携带除此以外的其他材料；
4. 本比赛环节期间，选手不得与除队友之外的其他人就比赛内容和方法进行交流，否则将被取消参赛资格。
For Contestant A Only
选手A：你是一家外资公司的秘书，你的老板计划利用圣诞假期和他的妻子去香港旅行。
你的队员是一家旅行社的工作人员，他（她）手头有三个旅行计划供你选择。
你需与队员沟通，选择合适的旅行计划。
在比赛第一阶段（15分钟内），你需要完成：
1. 阅读老板一家旅游的需求，提取相关信息；
2. 向队友询问其三个旅行计划的信息,根据要求完成任务单；
3. 与队友讨论，确定最合适的旅游方案；
4. 准备第二阶段的汇报内容。
备注：任务单仅由选手A填写。
在比赛第二阶段（3分钟内），你需要向评委汇报任务完成情况，内容需涵盖以下几个要点：1. What are your boss’ requirements for his tour?
2. A brief introduction of the three tour plans.
3. Explain your final choice.
For Contestant A Only
Please read the requirement of your boss.
You work as a secretary in a foreign company in Beijing. Your boss is going to have a short holiday during Christmas. He’s going to have a party with the staff in the company on Christmas Eve. Then he plans to have a 2-day holiday in Hong Kong. He wants to get relaxed while his wife doesn’t want miss the Christmas sale in Hong Kong. And the price is preferably between 4500RMB to 5500 RMB.
For Contestant B Only
选手B：你是一家旅行社的工作人员，你手头有三个香港旅行计划。
你的队友是一家外资企业的秘书，他(她)需要为老板选择一个合适的旅行计划。
你需与队友沟通，帮助他（她）选择合适的旅行计划。
在比赛第一阶段（15分钟内），你需要完成：
1. 阅读三个旅游计划，提取相关信息；
2. 与队友沟通，向其提供相关信息,协助队友完成任务单；
3. 与队友讨论，确定最合适的旅游方案；
4. 准备第二阶段的问答内容。
备注：任务单仅由选手A填写。
在比赛第二阶段（2分钟内），你需要回答评委现场提出的3个问题。
回答需与实际任务相结合、观点鲜明、有理有据、有逻辑性。

Plan 1
Day 1Arrive in Hong Kong at noon. After lunch, go to the Ocean Park which is famous for dolphin shows.
Day 2First go to Victoria Peak. The highest place in Hong Kong offers a brilliant view of the city. Then fly back to Beijing in the afternoon.

Plan 2
Day 1Arrive in Hong Kong at noon. After lunch, go to the Repulse Bay. The charming beach with soft golden sand and blue water has made it a popular spot for relaxation.
Day 2Pay a visit to Ladies Market, which is a must do for those who love shopping and bargaining. Fly back to Beijing in the evening.
Departure time: On the 5th, 15th, and 25th of each month
Price: 4900 per person
Plan 3
Day 1Arrive in Hong Kong at noon. After lunch, go to the Victoria Peak which offers a brilliant view of the city.
Day 2Pay a visit to Ladies Market, which is a must do for those who love shopping and bargaining. Fly back to Beijing in the evening
Departure time: On the 1st, 10th, and 20th of each month
Price: 4700 per person
