助人是快乐之本

Good morning, my dear teachers and classmates ! Today, my topic is …Helping others is a source of happiness‟.

敬爱的老师，亲爱的同学们，早上好！我今天讲话的题目是《助人是快乐之本》。

At one time, I heard such a story: One girl took a flower to visit his brother in hospital. A patient who lives in the next bed saw the flower and wished to own such a beautiful flower too.

我曾经听过这样一个故事：一位小女孩去医院探望哥哥时，捎上了一朵鲜花，隔壁床上的一位病人看见了，也希望拥有这么一朵漂亮的鲜花，

The girl knew it and sent the patient a flower too when she saw his brother every time…

小女孩知道后，每次去探望自己的哥哥时总不忘为这位陌生的病人也捎一朵鲜花……

At last, in order to spread the happiness much farther, the patient set up a shop near the hospital, and offered each pass-by who visits the patient a free flower. As a result the hospital is filled with happiness.

后来，这位病人为了让幸福播撒开去，在医院的旁边开了个小店，让经过小店去探病的路人免费带上一朵鲜花……结果医院里的每一个角落都充满着“欢乐”。

In our daily life, all of us like the sense of being cared about, being understood and supported by others. Actually, helping others is helping ourselves.

在我们生活中，我们都有喜欢被别人关心的那种感觉，同时也都希望得到别人的支持和理解，其实，帮助别人也就是在帮助自己。
